I'm assuming kitching was vice which is why he was captain whilst sheaf was out. He's still Vice.Slightly odd that Kitching has been the captain for the first 4 games while Sheaf was still at the club only for it to be switched to Grimes once the position was officially ‘available’ but the right decision either way.
I believe that either Lats or Bidwell were vice as Lats was captain a lot under Robins (I know previous regime) and Bidwell has been captain when both he and Kitch were on the field together (both league cup games) this season under Lampard. Thought it might be Kitch, but I guess Grimes is more of a guaranteed starter, especially since Woolfenden signed.

Surely not a better signing than Rudoni ?Sheaf was a good player.
But he wasn’t a captain. The difference Grimes has made to our midfield and our overall shape has been fantastic.
