That's two of us then. I haven't got much appetite for away games next year the way things stand at the minute. SISU have sucked the life out of the club and for me the pride.

That's at least three of us then. I am at the stage where, frankly, I don't give a damn where they play - while SISU are in charge I will not be attending any games, home or away (that includes the Ricoh and even Wembley for a cup final, in the unlikely event).

So would I. I love going in with the Cardiff fans and making lots of noise for Cov. Will never forget when we got the equalizer right at the end last time. I took so much stick off them as they had got a late goal so kept turning around to have a go back. Turned back around the last time to see the ball hit the back of the net and no idea who hit it after lots of injury time Spent the last few seconds of the game ripping into them. I have two cousins that are Cardiff STH's. They make me look small compared to them. But the banter is normally great with them lot.

I wouldn't go if we were playing the Rest of the World team in a match to decide who gets to sit on the left side of Jesus in heaven. They can stick it up their arse and fuck off whilst they're doing it.

Na. Were a football town. Compare the pubs and general atmosphere in the town on Saturday just gone to how they were in the Rugby world cup or for a big six nations game. No comparison. The Rugby team has been brilliantly run since turning professional, hence their success and big crowds. The Cobblers have never been well run (hence the rent deal). I'd expect any team's fans to fill their half of the national stadium when they were playing for the English title, same goes for the parade (similar numbers turned up for us when we won the division three play offs by the way).

A football team in this town that was run in the same way in the equivalent position (top half of the premier league, winning trophies, playing in europe etc) would be getting bigger crowds than 14,000. It shows when we get any small modicum of success, all the Liverpool/United fans in town remember who their home town team is and get on board which is fair enough I suppose. What would be interesting is if Coventry got one of the big teams in a home cup game at sixfields, although I know when my brother in law tried to get a ticket for the Wolves game last season in the Coventry end (he's a wolves fan living in Northampton) they wouldn't sell it to them as he wasn't on their data base and had a Northampton postcode.

Some good points but I still can't imagine any of our locals going to watch Coventry v Cardiff in the 1st round of the Worthless Cup. Not really a heart-stopper for the neutral is it? I can't even imagine too many going to watch the Cobblers! (If they have been drawn at home).

Cov fans might be interested (and pleased) to know the Northampton Chronicle clearly has decided to ignore CCFC . There is literally no coverage of them at all in the town. That's another reason few locals will see the Cardiff match...hardly any will be aware it's even on!

Can we have 0 Coventry fans there please. No excuses about needing to see the team, embarrass the owners just like they embarrass our club.
If this isn't the ideal opportunity for NOBODY to go to a game, I don't know what is.

Awaits backlash...

No backlash I wouldn't have thought. However, it would be nice if fans could do what they wanted without the Judgement Squad jumping up and down.

Or the fans could unite for once instead of the typical "f$%& you lot i'll do what I want" squad.

It's not an "I'll do what I want argument". It's giving fans a choice. What's wrong with that? There is no way that you will get a 100% swing in either direction. You say "unite" but you mean united in what you want/think they should do. Why is that united?

If you can't see the reason why it should happen, then this fan base of ours is dead. You would think every Cov fan would like to help contribute bringing us home, rather than contribute in keeping us away...

Alright, I agree.

Let's do a protest then, pack out Sixfields, show the TV cameras that we care... show some of the non CCFC fans I know that we will doa protest at last, like they're asking me if we'll do.

YEAH, let's DO-O-O IIT!

Well, there you go. You demonstrate that you aren't genuinely interested in being united, only getting fans do to what you think they should.

Because that last bit hits home with you, we know.

Seems like you only want what fits your agenda too, swings and roundabouts.

Mate, given that you and your lad represent a significant proportion of the gate I think courtesy suggests that you should let them know - odds are they'll put it back a week for you in any case.

Saying that Conor Thomas, at least, will be relieved:

CT: Eh, Jordan, that bloke in the main stand, the one who keeps giving me the evil eye - he's not here this week.
JC: What, the one with the walking stick?
CT: No, not him - the other bloke in the main stand.

I would imagine swings and roundabouts are things you are familiar with. You are either 5 years old or posses the mental capacity of a small child. Why not go away and come back when you can construct an intelligent argument.

See you next century.

Absolutely. He should have used the phrase "deluded/boring c**t". After all, that the epitome of an intelligent argument, isn't it?

But with Grendull and Torchlight it's true, they derail threads on your site frequently.

How you're an administrator is even more genius, in a piss take kind of way.

This is a thread about the carling cup game - not a call to arms by a modern day Wolfie Smith.

You are an abusive fool. I'm tiring of arguing with you already.

Nick I wish you would stop these generalisations, you do not know me or the others who choose not to go to 6fields on whether we would go if we got a so called big team at home. It happened at the Ricoh for the Crewe/Chelski but that was in Coventry, I can you absolutely assure you if we drew Real Madrid in the semi finals of the Champions league whilst we were still at sixfields I would definitely still not even consider going, and I am sure there are many more like me who would do the same.

Every club has floating fans who only go to big games, but unlike us they play in their home city, so until we do get a big game and can prove whether it would or wouldn't happen can we stop with this ,we would pack out 6fields if we got Liverpool talk that constantly comes up, a lot of the times by your good self

I feel its wrong to go to sixfields whether we are playing Accrington Stanley or Barcelona
