This man here i am a season ticket holder and am lucky to attend every away game and managed to keep going to all games bar 6 for the past 16 years so i am fine mate.. i was simply pointing out that no one bothered tuesday so if you like the ones who went tuesday should be after season tickets and memberships.
But i suppose you will pick and choose this game will you.

We will take 7000 maybe a little more if we begin to pick up in the league. People will be booking work off or have it off sick.. this will generate interest no doubt about it. I personally wouls prefer a lower attendance from us with fans who support us not fan and their manu mate.

i wont be going. done my stint over the last 35 years around every ground possible. Sorry if I sound a party pooper but I doubt this will attract more than 3,000 when the dust settles.

It'll be great for the kids who have never been to a premier club before but it dosen't excite me one bit.

There will be much more than 3,000 going. I will be going if I can get a ticket. Never been to the emirates before. I think all the Cov fans I know will go if they can get out of work. I will get back about 2am and start work 5:30am.

All of us that have followed us for years have suffered most of the time. It is games like this that can give us the better moments. Just hope for another Manure moment.

I think you are playing it down to make sure you get a ticket

I'm pretty sure we will sell out the allocation before general sale, or if it does go to general sale the few remaining tickets will be gone in the first hour or 2.

And I respect you for that. I also do understand your point but it's impossible for CCFC as a club to keep everyone happy.

I don't go often anymore, perhaps five games a season top end. The reason? Work (weekend work often) and family including two small children who want to go swimming, bowling and the like whenever they get the chance. That's where my money goes now. If anyone want's to tell me that I'm not a CCFC supporter anymore because of that then in my opinion they're a fucking idiot.

Yes I will 'choose' this game. For a period of about eight years I went all over the place supporting City, rarely missing a game (and this was post Premier League) and the only thing I ever saw that was over half decent was United, 2007.

I hope I've justified myself to you LB.

11,000 'fans'. At least a couple of thousand who haven't been to a game in a long while (ironically probably since that Old Trafford game). Sorry to sound dispondant about 'support' but it is true we will have a lot of band wagon supporters!

Just a good job season ticket holders get priority I suppose.

I'll be going by coach I think. Had it been a weekend, train and tube would have been a must!

Why do you need to trumpet your true supporter status? We know who goes and who doesn't.

Bandwagoners?

We are Div3

If you get a ticket you deserve to go. If you don't then you don't. If you are a STH you will get one. Why worry about it? There are plenty of fans that go to most away games but not home. Do they deserve a ticket?

Thismanhere that is completely fine and i admire not all is able to make it but instead of people arguing on attendance should we not be thinking hang on lets go and give a good account of ourselves and enjoy the evening when at the game. I am fine with whoever goes just as long as dont here this is shite every two minutes by idiots thinking we will beat them even if it is arsenals kids...

Morning all

Hope my comment last night didn't upset too many people too much. I wasn't trying to say everyone who wants to go go who isn't necessarily a season ticket holder isn't a 'true fan' etc etc. it's just that there will be several fans who will only go because it's against a premiership team and probably haven't even checked our results in the last few years let alone been to a game.

I appreciate not everyone is able to afford to go to every game, or have other commitments, whether that be work or family. I was obviously just in a bit of a mood last night!

Also had a manic day at work and needed a rant, and you are the people who suffered my rant. And for that, I'm sorry!

Happy Friday everyone!

I'll be going if I can tickets. I pick and choose which games I go to these days, but it has nothing to do with finance, children, or work commitments, I choose whichever games I think will be a good atmosphere, or where I'll get to (hopefully) see some good players.

I didn't go to Birmingham at home in the last round, but I did go to Birmingham away in the F.A. Cup a couple of seasons back. My choice. Who is anybody to tell me whether I'm a real fan or not? If I decide I don't want to pay silly money to watch a load of rubbish, that's up to me.

I will go to Arsenal in the hope that firstly City win, but also hoping to see some future talent playing for Arsenal. Do I think I'm a better fan than anybody else? No. Do I think other fans are better than me? No. Going up is a choice, and if I think we'll be rubbish against an equally rubbish team, nobody in the world will force me to waste money on it just so they can say "I'm a proper supporter", because quite frankly I couldn't give a toss.

Really easy to get to by train. Straight down to Euston then two stops on the Victoria line to Highbury and Islington.

Very easy to drive to also. North London, and before the traffic is overtaken by snails.

I would go but it would have to be by train. Then I looked at the timetable from Crewe, getting there fine, only £12.50, but the night trains are rubbish, 22:00, which is useless, then one at 11:30 great I thought, till it stops in New Street till 05:30!!! So, I may have to give it a miss.

I don't really get this view.

Yes it's very unfortunate if 'proper' fans miss out on tickets, but if people want to have a good day out then fine good luck to them.

We should get around 9k tickets so I don't think too many people are going to miss out.

Stop moaning! who cares, lets take a massive following down there cheer the boys on and enjoy it! I only hate what someone mentioned earlier, when non city fans go and spend 90 minutes taking the piss or moaning. So what if you dont go regular, if you support the city it is fine by me.

That'll come when we get to the prem/we get half successful.

I myself am not an armchair fan and made every home game (including cup matches) for the last 2 seasons (missed 1 the season before )
