Wrong again. It is morals something that "Devout Christian" owner of ours fails to see extremely regularly. What devout Christian would deny decent people their right to be able to watch their 132 years old Football Club play in the Community where it was born? Oh! I forgot she has a duty to her investors. What about her Christian duties to the people of Coventry?

I don't personally buy the Christian line, just think it was a bit of PR, to make her look better. Let's be honest she's a hedge fund owner, surely that fies in the face of Christianity? Still, something for you to use.

No not all, but if they were throwing money in, you can bet your house on the protests being a lot quieter.

again we're bogged down in the detail, we are all different , and we all have to do things we don't like, the last home match I missed was leeds at highfield rd in 02-03 as I was in hospital with pneumonia , I know im a fucking lightweight . I don't like going to work but I like the money they pay me so I go. maybe we could at some point look to the greater good and bite the bullet and do something we may not entirely agree but would help toward a greater good. maybe a march and boycott wont get rid of sisu , but its a mark to start from and we do need to start togeather at some point soon.

Ah, another who struggles with comprehension. I'm aware I like posts that I agree with or is funny or has a point. I was referring to the back patting extreme of quoting a post to just say agreed.

Also how posters sit on a thread waiting for someone to post something they agree with so they can do as mentioned.

Not really if people are trying to tell me what I should / shouldn't be doing.

I'll be going to the game, there aren't many Saturday games at all for ages and haven't been.

I didn't realise I had to have a degree in customer service to be a football fan.

Thing is what if you don't believe a boycott is for the greater good.

I don't see anyone on the other side of the coin thibking I don't agree with it but we should go up and support the team for the greater good?

Where has anyone said you SHOULD be joining in? Pretty sure I asked further back why you shouldn't join in? But if that's your reason then what I said stands, you're not a people person. You walk alone, good for you.

this thread is a prime example of how starved of success we are. we've beaten a newly promoted team who, a couple of season ago were non league, a team we shoudnt be in the same division as, but we are , and instead of trying to resolve a situation that will inevitably see us fall further away down the divisions , we are arguing amongst ourselves yet again. on Saturday some people have chosen to try and make a difference by organising this march and boycott of the match v the fucking mighty Rochdale, we have an opertunity to ,just for once , show some solidarity and unity. if you want change you have to make it happen. I love city , ive been going to games as long as I can remember , and its because I love city so much I will be marching and boycotting the ONE match on saturday. the team are ok they can win one without us this time, in two season none of them will be here anyway. if you choose to go to the game ,that's up to you, but don't knock those who are trying to force a change that would be better for everyone including you .

The last home Saturday game was 17th Sept. People will be taking their kids to the JSB zone as the kids love it there, that starts at 1.30.

That is a reason why people wouldn't be going.

It also isn't much of environment for young kids.

do what you gotta do kid, but I don't think there can be anyone on this forum ,not even you who believes that continuing with sisu is going to be beneficial to the club or the team, its just a way of trying to make change. I cant force anybody to boycott, I wont call anybody that dosent , but if you want change then we might have to do things we don't like to do.

the thing is I tried boycotting once, (when we went to Sixfields), crowds dropped by 75%, the cunts went nowhere and an out of town rugby franchise ended up becoming our landlords.

And nobody has actually shown that a boycott would actually do anything.

Especially as the ground is pretty much 3/4 empty every game anyway.

No you're correct, SISU are going to kill the club if we don't get rid.

But I think boycotting is so counter productive. I mean good luck to you guys, I really hope I'm wrong and I'd be happy to apologise and thank you guys if boycotting gets rid.

I just think SISU do not care about what we think, and effectively made ourselves fund the club. If we stop going they'll just cut the budget even more. That way it still doesn't cost them a penny

I'm going Saturday with my lad. We need to be more creative with our protests that removing our support for the first team for a particular game.

They are our team not sisu. Long after fisher and seppalla have spent their last pound we will still be fans of Coventry City Football Club

We get 15k+ signatures for a petition led by the Telegraph but anything over 1000 is a success in your eyes.

This will not be newsworthy at all.

Like a few have mentioned what happened at Chalton was a top story and was outside the box. Something like that every game would be a much better idea.

its a starting point. we cant go on being divided, I do really want to go to the game, but I feel if I don't support the people who are trying to do something pro-active to speed the end of sisu's reign, then those people might give up and again we will be lost, and left to complain on here or get a petition up or something equally as lame.

So by not being able to go on being divided, the way to do it is to have a boycott which is the most divided thing?

I agree, fans need to be more together. Before any protest, march or anything it should be to bring fans together.

Thing is they're not coming up with ideas other than boycott, we play in front of a 75% empty stadium on the best of days, they're not working!

How about as nick and I have suggested - pressure the CT to investigate SISU, they seem to want them out! What makes them tick who are they're investors - we take the fight to them!

How about we all go to a wasps game, and sing anti SISU songs bring the plight to them, let's pressure wasps to make public (reasonable) offers to SISU, let's give them a public platform to trip up, same with the council -we can pressure these parties to publicly humiliate SISU

All in all let's make Coventry City so annoying that it's in every possible Coventry related story
