I couldn't make the Bury game but all accounts we played well.

Do you guys who went to Bury think that we can stick at least 3 past Crewe on Wednesday?

Do you think we can pull of a huge shock?

It would certainly be an amazing night if we did.

We can score 3 but its keeping the clean sheet I am worried about, as they will just sit and try and catch us on the break.

Still looking forward to it though.

Very awkward for them on how they approach it.The third goal has probably complicated things for them.

I wouldn't say we played well against bury but we didn't play badly. We didn't get the chance to get the ball down and pass it, but if we scored 2 whilst not playing so well that can only be a good sign. But the Bury game was the only game I have been to watch all season because I live in Germany, so I don't know how that game compared to how we play week in week out.

Personally I don't think we can pull it off. We may be able to score three but I think we would most likely concede.

Don't worry, we've been saving the goals up! Nearly 60 efforts in 3 games and only 2 goals!

In all seriousness it depends whether we can get an early goal. If we do you never know what can happen. If we don't I expect Crewe will win 1 or 2-0.

We need 1 by half time

Then a second at any point will lead to a cracking finale. Even if its only 3-4 minutes

Can't see it but will pray we do

We will win! Do doubt in my mind at all - trouble is doing it by 3 clear goals -If we can get 2 the nerves will start to prey on Crewe as they would with any team and then we might (just might) have a chance.
Lets get the 1st then start thinking about the 2nd - if we can manage that with 5 or so minutes to go it will be GAME ON!
Come on you Sky Blues :claping hands:

No question we can win....and will in my opinion providing we score early and are 2 up by haf time. Then they'll be rattled and ready for the plucking!!...going for a 4-0 result!

With a 3 goal cushion their main thought won't be trying to score more, because they don't need to, so they will concentrate on keeping us out. When we score our first goal it will make them even more nervous and they will start to pack their half with players, with maybe the odd long hoof in the hope that their lone forward can get a jammy goal. After our second they will start to get really neurotic with six men permanently camped on their own goal line. Then when we get the third goal they will go into panic stations and try to push all 10 men forward, desperate for a goal, but leaving a huge hole in defence that we will stroll through for the fourth, fifth and sixth goals in quick succession.
Trust me, I've seen it in the leaves!!

listeneing to the radio up in crewe they have said that they have been practicing defending and might need to park the bus to cope with us throwing the kitchen sink at them

we can win the game but I would be massively surprised if we came back in the tie.

they are good on the counter attack, I can see them scoring when we are throwing alot forward. also, has anyone checked their defensive stats? They have only conceeded 14 goals in 15 home games.

Its possible we could do anything - its just not that likely unfortunately

We can, but if you were Crewe surely you would just sit back soak up the pressure and hit us on the break. Crewe fans are very confident that the game is over, let be honest if we had won 3 nil away we would be. I am really hoping we can do it, hearts says yes, head no... however impossible is nothing. I keep thinking of Liverpool and Instanbul

No extra time or away goals count double, just straight to penalties after 90 mins.

Come on City, one early goal and we are back in it. CTID
