Well where can I start after writing a thread title like that? Yes I have read all about potential this, possible that, SISU out, bye bye good, hello mediocre, we want to buy you but "ooops wrong paper" e.t.c it's all become a bit tedious.

Today was poor theirs no denying that, and with dustbin on crutches it leaves us with 3 strikers, and a squad who will struggle this year without investment. Let's face it boys and girls, no investment means one direction. Down!

To early to say I agree with you thoughts right now, but let's be realistic times change, people change, clubs change, unforgivably ours has not.

As my threat title says, can somebody somewhere please rescue us soon!

The only we can do is get behind them! No
Point going mental over having no money! We just have accept were we are at and get behind them an thorn! One thing is the youth look promising and if they have to make the step up sooner than later then so be it! I did think OD looked sharpe and on his toes today something Eastwood didn't really and
Probably didn't help his injury!

Our U18's won 11-0 against Burton Albion which made my day. It's not the Norwich game that concerns me, it's all of it from tip to toe that ruins my confidence about us. Even Huckerby on twitter seems to think so from his last tweet.

Can't believe how worked up and anxious people are getting over a pre season result, I thought we were pretty good and just lacked the finishing touch left by King - we will find out how good or bad we really are in the next couple of months.

thats the point though...

If King was injured or rested then I would agree, but we have been "hopefully of a signig this week" all pre season...

We could easily go into the season with only one central midfielder who has EVER played a league game..

And Juke and a chap that couldnt even get into our squad last season as our only fit realistic strikers

Umm im not to confident, reason being we got no one to bang them in.this is not off todays result been saying it all pre season. We are relying on juke and most his goals last season were pens. Just prey someone comes in before sat

King was the only one to break double figures for goals last season..

we wont have anyone this season, and in teams where that happens, there is normally only one result !

If we drew 1.1 in todays friendly kick around half of these posts wouldn't be on here, but yeah we do have problems upfront that have been apparant before today. We just have to see what we can do when the season starts under Thorn.

To be honest i don't think the friendly has changed what I thought before i turned up at the Ricoh. The Murphy isn't as good as Westie but he'll do the job for the money we can pay. Defence looks good but only an injury or two away from trouble. Midfield is weak, we need more attacking players, baker has no engine on him and frustrating to watch. Sammy is superb n spends most his time fixing others mistakes. Strikers are a problem. Freddy and Platt injured. Juke not getting infront of the goal to stick it in, still looks like he's trying to set King up and O'Donovan, positive preseason frm him but will he get into double figures. A lot of youth being pushed through that looks good but worrying that we had no experienced subs to bring on today other than Wood. Whilst i admire Thorny for trying to play attractive footie i fear it may not be enough. Not negative just realistic. I live in hope of some last minute signings or this takeover.

If we are relegated at the end of the season, do you think we will have another eejit holding a "We'll be back" sign up?

Players missing yesterday, platt, deegan, bell, turner, Clarke, Mcpake (was on the bench) all first team candidates add the knocks to juke baker and Eastwood then that's nearly a team out injuried? We need our best players fit for at least 90% of the games this season while bringing in the youth players like reading and Watford have done! With that in mind can AT do any more with the fit
Players he's got? I don't think so, I hope his target transfer wise comes off this week and I hope the friendly against spinxs gives a few players more mins on the pitch! Hopefully by nextweekend we will have a few
More bodies bk!

This season is just going to be 1 of them seasons. We know the squad lacks strength in depth and being honest our 1st team aren't all promotion winning players. But there is only one thing us fans can do, support. Forget trying to spite sisu in some sort of protest, turn up when you can and get behind the lads. We have no expectations this season, not even looking through our sky blue glasses, so why get our knickers in a twist when we know will happen happens. Just turn up, SUPPORT the lads every game and if we go down lets go down fighting with pride and dignity!

As a season ticket holder I'll be doing just that and backing the players 100%. It isn't there fault we have the weakest squad I can ever remember. There's some good players, but we are painfully short of a class act like Westwood and King and just don't have any depth or experience. I'll try not to take my anti-SISU feelings into the matches, but when that crowd turns on them (as it will), I'll find it hard not to join in with the venting of frustrations.
