Can anyone help with this? (4 Viewers)

Can anyone think of any other live games we have featured in on terrestrial TV?

I am attempting to take up writing about City past and present in a blog as a hobby and I thought this would be a good focal point for a first piece. I am just worried my memory has missed a match or two!

I have a vague recollection of a game against Birmingham being on ITV, maybe around 2004 or something.

Could be a total figment of my imagination tbf.
Definitely, the ITV days. Think that was the season after relegation and we lost 2-0, it was grim. Feel like there was probably 1 or 2 more too but i do clearly remember that one.

I remember it, think I watched it in the Litten Tree in town!
Yeh i think i remember some of the other ones you mentioned but i do clearly remember that one, no idea why. Want to say Marcelo double? I just remember losing a lot on TV and generally playing like shit. Wish i'd known Sheffield Wednesday away was on TV as i remember listening to that on the radio... we lost that one too! Funny the things you remember (Gerald Sibon.)

The Sheff Wed one was on a Friday night, it might have been Good Friday. I remember watching it in the Grange pub in Wyken.

Sheff Wed at home with the Safri free kick. Think we went top after that game, sure that was ITV too. I remember a Forest game too. 2002, 5.30 ko Scimeca scored

Thanks for all the responses. Southampton away when they won promotion was another one I missed as I was there!! Massive pitch invasion and didn't we have a young lad playing who came on for 2nd half and never played again. Dark days.

Wasn't the ITV sport channel a subscription channel as I am looking for pure free to air terrestrial games.

Yeah didn’t Itv sport which was a terrestrial channel take over for the season when digital collapsed?

We played an FA Cup replay against Portsmouth at The CBS under Coleman on ITV, can't remember when it was but it was whilst Pompey were still a Premier League side but under severe financial distress, we were winning at one point but lost in the last minute of extra time iirc

Watford as well? I remember watching that one on TV, if memory serves me right we lost 1-0 (probably not).

It was not live, there was a short delay for some reason (might have been something to do with TV laws at the time)
I remember watching the 1/4 final between Wimbledon & Spurs on TV, strange that a 1/4 final was live but not a semi final, must have been a broadcasting rights issue

After the collapse of ITV digital there was scores of live games shown on the regional terrestrial channels. I remember having to set up the skybox to receive the regional channels to watch Cov live away to Millwall and iirc qpr.

ITV Sport was on the Freeview box. It was free to watch. I remember that during the WBA game the clock counted upto 100 seconds before going to the next minute. Game ended on something like the 64th minute due to ITV fucking up the timings.

I know I need to move on but can anyone recall the foul by Adams on Gynn in the box not given in that 87/88 game? Fuck me, as blatant a penalty as you could ever see. Big club bias alive and kicking 38 years ago,
