Saying sold out.....surely not?
Any ideas? I have tweeted the club but they aren't the quickest.
Never underestimate the impact 270 minutes without a goal, concluding that against a ten man bottom of the table team can have!
I think it'd just be the first block? I don't know how many that is but it always happens, CCFC have to contact TicketMaster to open another block
I just got 2 tickets on line
After last season's joke game what a embarrassment.
I might have some spares due to drop outs if anyone is interested.
Luckily they don't have Luke Berry so maybe we can hope for a 0-0 this time!
Some of my mates went up for that one, they are normally "stay til the bitter end" merchants even on bad days, but that day they left at half time and went back to the pub for the whole second half!
I nearly went myself as was up in Lincoln for a long weekend and was going to be driving down to London from there, so could easily have stopped in Ca,bridge for the game. Luckily we decided to go to the garden centre instead!
540 sold so gonna be 1,000 plus again
I got mine this morning 9am to be exact.
Taking my Liverpool supporting son with me just before he goes off to work in Brussels so it will be a nice but emotional day for me.
Just hope the players put in a performance.
Remember the chant to our players warming up on touch line 'How shit must you be? You're not in the team' LOL
Lucky escape! I was unfortunately there to watch that dross, probably the only time that I've booed the team off the pitch
With support like that i'm amazed we lost, the team's confidence must have been sky high....especially in the middle of a multi game losing run as we were then. Thanks for that.
Yes it knocked Tudgay's confidence for the rest of the season
Just got my two tickets. No problem with the process whatsoever. Front row South Stand.
Isn't it unreserved seating?
Nice little away end, food wasn't too bad either last season
Yeah I'd already chewed off my own right arm in appalled frustration and disbelief by half time, so I didn't quite have room for a pie.
That's what it says on my tickets, could be fun if we end up selling out
Looking forward to this one, new ground for me and train via London on the way there and via Peterborough on the way back, so a bit of a day out.
Can anyone recommend any town centre pubs? Preferably with a juke box!
There is a direct train from Nuneaton at 8.52 and 9.52
Are you the fonz?
I went to Cambridge late last year and pubs in the city centre are few and far between! There is a long road that goes into the centre that has a few that are OK, can't remember what the road name though. There's an Irish owned pub called the Earl of Derby not far from that station that is friendly and does a decent pint and fry ups, but out of the centre. Actually, that road into then is Regents something I think.
I know what the fonz is vageuely but don't get what you're implying?
Cheers mate, early of Derby will come in handy when we arrive and are itching for a pint!
Went to the Abbey Stadium first time in April or May 1984 (I was based just outside of Cambridge for a couple of years in the mid '80's) The visitors were Newcastle Utd chasing a solitary point to guarantee promotion. Cambridge had long been relegated, 6 or 7 games previous and hadn't won at home for about 6 months. I think you can guess the script.
The thing I admired about the Geordie hordes as they went about dismantling the very corrugated and pre-fab style stadium is that I recall them doing it in a very 'workman' like fashion.
Went back early '90's for our cup replay (The Dion Dublin comedy penalty fiasco) enough said.
Sorry, I digress. Really enjoyed my time there at that time. As I recall, there are loads of pubs along the road from train station to town centre. Once in the town centre check out the Red Cow and the Bath. If they are still there/open.
Have a good day.
That's the road I was on about, can't remember it's name though. Once in the actual centre there aren't many at all though.
+3 from Derby. Hope there's more than the 750 that were there last season. Mind those that stayed at home didn't miss much...
Ahh, happy days.
Wow - how funny and inventive! I wish I could support my team as well as that!
So what's the consensus on where the main gathering will be then?
Anyone else getting the train from Leicester?
Thanks for the info mate! @Earlsdon_Skyblue1 any ideas on the road name?
You want Regent Street and St.Andrews Street. Great pubs before the city centre, from the railway station, and just through the other side.
Separate names with a comma.
