Lampard has been in the job for 3 days

We’re not in the relegation zone

We’re scoring plenty of goals

Our best player will return from injury soon

We’ve got Jan coming up to address issues with the squad

Stop losing your minds over a DRAW.

We’ll be fine this season. We’re not getting relegated. We’ve seen what these players can do. Calm the fuck down and stop shitting the forum up with threads about how all our players are shit and other associated bollox.

Yeah, it's a bit mad.

We have to give Lampard a chance at least. He couldn't do much at all in 3 days.

A couple of decent players in, in Jan and Wright back, we'll be just fine

Absolutely we will be fine. Mid table or thereabouts, which is all we could expect anyway. Right at the start of the season, it was again clear that this is a competitive division. Our squad is about mid table strength.

More worrying is whether or not the wages of Simms and Wright are sustainable

Coaching and tactics will sort the defence out, individually good to very good championship players, its obviously more than coincedence that the defence has gradually gone to shit since DL left.
We definitely need a stronger man or men in DM/CM than either Sheaf or Eccles are or can be, someone to lead and prepared to get stuck into the defensive side of midfield, coaching again, if we are playing three in midfield we need to make sure they are not leaving Grand Canyon sized gaps for opposing teams to play through which happens way too often.

Up front I think we are fine, some very good players and an absolute gem that could end up a monster of a striker if his early potential proves.
We have been lucky and unlucky in equal measure on the pitch, the major issues are on the pitch in Defence and MDF and in my opinion (FWIW) most of the problems can be coached out.

The players being shit isnt the problem they are far from it, the problem is the coaching and tactical coaching they are receiving!

I agree with the calm the fuck down part I will admit I chat absolute shite when we loose but most fans do

You've gotta look at it the other way around tho, £40 quid for a ticket, this new chairman has sacked Mark Robins, absolutely no reason to, okay Robins and Ady fell out, so let Robins realise his ego has got the better of him towards the end of the season when we have placed 11th in the league and he accepts the coaching team are utter shit, Robins would have gone and found a head coach come then.

Instead he's said the club needs absolute best in class Head Coach so he hires Lampard, a guy that couldn't lace Robins boots quite frankly.

So now what Lampard is in and this shower of shit on the pitch is just going to magically fix itself? It don't work like that does it.

Let's get fucking real now, I have been calling out Bobby, Kitching, Joel and to a lesser extent Binks because he rarely got an opportunity before we actually signed him.
I have banged on about the fact they are absolute horse radish at their job.

In the summer, we needed at the least 1 centre back that is worth 5 million quid
1 left back again worth 3-4 million quid
And we needed a box to box midfielder again 5 million and a attacking midfielder (loan)

£13-£15 million quid on 3-4 players that we desperately needed sorting.

Instead, we signed Asante, Bassette, Mason Clarke, Borges, Dovin and Jack Rudoni.

I'm sorry but where the fuck is the the left back?
Where the fuck is the 5 million pound 28 year old centre back that will come in and instantly fix up the 4 frauds we currently have in that position.

Lastly the box to box midfielder that we have needed since we sold Hamer, where was this? Again, we missed out on Stamenic but didn't have a second option? It's just honestly laughable at this point.

Now let's put perspective into the fold, it's a Tuesday, night, Wednesday night, Saturday Afternoon or a 3pm kick on Saturday.
You're freezing your bollucks off its fucking shite weather outside but you make the journey to the CBS to watch Coventry City play. It costs the best part of £40 a ticket and then you spend £30 in the stadium.

You sit there and watch a group of lads earning 10 grand a week, playing absolutely shit, not looking like they are playing for the badge and quite frankly they also look like they have nothing in common with us fans.

It wasn't long ago, we had Gyok, Gus, Fadz, O'Hare, Kelly, Sheaf, Godden, Palmer and Ben Wilson. All these players felt like they were part of the CCFC family, I can't put the word on it but you get what I mean.

Looking at the squad now, honestly Sheaf, MVE and when he plays Ben Wilson are the only players that have that connection.

Look at the squad, that family feel we have had so much success with has disappeared, and it hasn't been for the best.

So there's alot of things to be pissed off about at the minute and DK and Lampard will be the 2 individuals that will be getting it the worst if they do not go out and sign, 2 centre backs, a left back and a box to box midfielder.

Mark my words, those defenders got Robins the sack we can talk about Simms, Wright, the midfield all night but the facts are they will ruin anyone's reputation simply because Binks, Kitching. Joel and Bobby are a shower of shit, they have no business being at our football club.

To be concerned about relegation troubles given our league position and the high number of poor performances is natural. A team that can't stop conceding soft goals and that struggles to convert chances will tend to find itself in trouble. We haven't just underperformed in certain games, we've looked like a team that was just chucked together at random off the park. Regularly.

That isn't doom mongering, it's a footballing fact. In Lampard's favour are his excellent contacts in the game, his footballing brain and his willingness to work hard and learn from mistakes. It's why I think on balance it's a good appointment even if not the one I would have made. My concern is that he's inherited a very dysfunctional group of players-his work is cut out.

Doug King was clearly concerned enough about the risk of relegation that he dismissed Robins. We can argue about whether it was too soon or not (I think it was), but he thought it was a big enough possibility that we had to change course. My opinion is the players were more at fault than Robins and that they are still the biggest problem.
