This is like an episode of through the keyhole now. Where does Wilson live? And the answer is……..it doesn’t matter. He’s not signing for us.

Only way he’s signs is if he knows he’s completely lost it physically

prem teams want him as well as the arab money teams he’d be nuts to come back

He was offered a pay as you play offer at Newcastle and turned it down. Granted he'd get more game time here than at Newcastle, but wouldn't make half the amount.
Paddy Bamford is a FAR better option at this level. More affordable. Not as injury prone. Id rather pull.out.the stops and pursue him rather than waste any time even considering CW

You’re just re-emphasing my point. No player would even consider such a deal. So pointless even suggesting it as an option.

Andy Impy did and Adams always brought him on at 85mins

I think Bamford is a terrible signing as well Wright is better than him at this point in his career. He scored 0 goals last season and 8 the year before. Hasn't had a good season since 2020 when you look at his stats will be another waghorn.

Andy Impey had no other options and Adams was doing him a favour. Wilson will have plenty of well paid options.

I'm going to embarrass myself here by saying it but I'd love a Wilson homecoming for a season. There I said it, come at me

Be great if he wasnt so injury prone , can’t blame him taking a a big offer from abroad if one comes his way

If he wasn’t so injury prone there wouldn’t even be rumours of him coming to us, and he will never wear a cov shirt again unless he’s watching us play with his family.

These days we only really know who we might be signing on the day itself and then the news is announced by a journalist at the other end as such. King has it nailed down big time in terms of leaks .

We knew about Brau and Hayden well in advance and the Rushworth deal is all over the news? The leaks are as bad as ever

If he plays 25-30 games for them though, he'll get 12+ goals.

If my aunt had balls she’d be my uncle

Probably gets crocked before Christmas and makes 12 apps total.

Might be a bit mixed as he's scored plenty against West Ham over the years, so at least he won't be able to do that anymore.

A player that's cost the club nothing, reportedly on a pay as you play deal (talksport). What exactly have the West Ham fans got to be pissed about? Money hasn't been spunked on his transfer and if he doesn't play, he isn't paid. So he's not hogging up wages either (unless he does play) and if that's the case he's not wasted money.

I'd be amazed if it was a genuine pay as you play, rather than a salary with heavily incentivised appearance bonus

I hate players going to Saudi but in Wilson's situation that's what I'd be tempted to do.

It's more complex than some think. Ok you get paid a lot and they don't get taxed in Saudi. But there is a but.....

If a person returns to the UK before they qualify as a non-resident. The money they have earned abroad is subject to UK taxation regulations.

It's not a straight forward go there for a couple of seasons and earn shed loads of money.

Regardless, I’m sure he’d get a better contract out there than he will here and it won’t be dependent on performance. And he can take it easy.

It's West Ham. The only club with supporters who have bigger ideas above their station is 20 miles up the A45

Having watched a bit of West Ham against the equally bad Man Utd they should be glad of anybody as Pitter doesn’t have the players there to play his brand of football.
