I know hindsight is a wonderful thing but this is why clubs such as Southampton are where they are today. They either sold their youngsters for top dollar, or held onto them until whilst they gained promotion to the higher leagues whilst at the same time inflating their transfer fees.

Those parasites have always been far too quick to bite the 1st bidders hand off. Bigirimana, Turner, Juke, Wilson. The same will be said when Spurs offer £2m for Maddison and Stalybridge Celtic offer a tenner for Burge in January.
