All of that until his injury. Then he came back, played like he was moving. Went.

I’d have him back. Competition for Rudi. Hes a good player. We just sound bitter

Don't, people on here still can't get there head around KKH playing second fiddle to MVE! Let's not confuse them more by having O'Hare on the bench rotating with Rudoni. People on here would much rather shit like Allen on the bench, its easier to comprehend.

Loved having Gus, CoH and Vik, but they've gone to pastures new and we've HAD to move on.

Seems unlikely he'll be leaving, they seem to play him every week including right now. Their lineup looks very good, amazed they've had such a shit start

And why would he come back when he wouldn't be a guaranteed starter?

Most would prefer Allen, he's happier to sit on the bench!
What we need is players competing for a shirt. Not happy to sit on the bench!
MVE - KKH! Neither are guaranteed their spot. They want it, they train and play well to keep it. People can't understand that though. They're happy to put no-names on the bench that we can buy for peanuts and improve. We're past that now, we need players in every position, including the bench, that are ready to play and play well.

Ok then, who are you rotating?

Looking at the appearance stats from last year there’s not a whole lot of rotation going on.

Because there's nobody to rotate with. You tale Rudi off and who you putting on? Allen? Don't make me laugh! Thats nowhere near a like for like.

Just not true is it? Came back late Oct and was sub then his form through Dec - Feb was excellent.

Let’s not just spout bollocks because he took the option to double his money for a few years.

Not wound up. The stats back up my view. Not bitter he left either, think he’d do well in this team as back up for Rudoni but not a fan of bringing back previous players and I don’t think COH’s ego / agent would give it the ok either.

Ran his contract down after we stuck by him after his ACL injury. Fcuk him, Rudi is a far better player.

I'd love to have a full squad of players who we would consider Rudoni level but realistically that's not happening.

Rudoni started 40 league games last season, is he going to be happy if suddenly it's half that because he's being rotated in and out. And you'd have the same problem with o'Hare, he's not going to be happy unless he's playing week in week out.

The idea of picking up o'Hare as a backup for £2m is great but seems pretty unrealistic to me. How much will he cut his wages, enough for a squad player to not be one of our highest earners? How will he be persuaded to come and be a squad player to be rotated in when there's injury or fatigue?

It just seems an absolute non-starter to me.

For starters I don't believe he is being sold for 2m. That's unless someone at the club is trying to get them relegated as most of their players are not very good.

There would be a bidding war if they were to sell him. There's no chance of us getting into a bidding war then breaking our pay structure to bring him back.

Yeah it was hypothetical obviously but people on here have serious stockholm syndrome from the sisu era, where any signings must be upgrades on the starting XI and any players who aren't must be happy with 10 minutes off the bench every week.

Binks was a squad player and was our highest earner?!

Also, until recently (this season under Selles) O'Hare has been happy to be a bit-part player at Blunts.

Fans seemed to put imaginary, hypothetical, barriers in the way.

Im not for a minute saying we're buying him, but the reasons you've given for why it wouldn't happen, happen all the time. They're pointless arguments because players drop wages, come in to bigger/better positioned clubs as a back up. He left us for blades because at that time, they looked more likely to go up than we did. For what seemed like a promise of promotion he went and sat on their bench and took what game time he was given.
We're now that club, the club that looks likely of promotion, so we need to be that club that lower teams miss out on players for.

We've been at the bottom end, and players have turned us down to sit on the bench at a higher up club. We're now at the top end. We need to start acting like it. And that means finding a Hughes and a O'Hare on the bench rather than a Lati and an Allen
