The only factor in this decision is cash (I suppose I’m just recalling games where he played against us!)

Do people think his pace would be an issue the way we play ?

Not sure hes a good fit for us but I could be wrong

Thinking exactly the same thing. Doyle and Hughes are young but I do not feel they are mobile. One of the issues for us is that when we have a corner and Kitching and Thomas go up it is either Milan or Da Silva covering from the centre cirlce and they have no height, they have speed but that has caused a few problems and is why many fans get onto Da Silva's back. Many times the issue has not been speed, with him, it's height or build. If we brought in Hughes or Doyle we would possibly still have the same problem.
My philisophy in life is if you have a problem solve it, in this situation I do not think our problem is being solved.

Everyone quick to write off Thomas and Kitching. Both are decent have different attributes, are as experienced as Doyle and more so than Hughes and both still have improvement in them. We need another CB cover as Lati worries me but if we have £10m then get a striker

Not many of the team or management are still at our club when Doyle played for us in 2023/24. No sure how much affection he has if any for us now to be much of a draw and suspect its all about the money. I am not sure how many cars, watches and pairs of trainers a young man needs nowadays

Not that I think we're signing him, but he and Eccles are mates.

I am struggling to think of one goal we have conceded directly from play after we have had an attacking corner.

I know Hughes and Doyle are better but I’d probably take a punt of Ethan Pye. Only apparently three million and highly rated.

Good on the ball, good recovery speed and aggressive.

They do have a good partnership and whenever they play, we concede less goals and more clean sheets despite what individual stats may say.

Clean sheets is a team stat but the combinations cannot be underestimated.

The player that I'd imagine was put off signing for us due to the fanbase was Dublin.

We can't compete with Wrexham's wage structure as they are paying Keiffer Moore £42K a week apparently, not sure if we can compete with Norwich or Leicester to be honest...

With the amount of crosses we put in Moore would have been a great signing but crazy wages

Yeah, I've mentioned it a few times. He is slower than Kitching.
