oooo I dno, when Lampard played for Man City, Doyle was in the under 12's....maybe was tapping him up in advance....Not many of the team or management are still at our club when Doyle played for us in 2023/24. No sure how much affection he has if any for us now to be much of a draw and suspect its all about the money. I am not sure how many cars, watches and pairs of trainers a young man needs nowadays
Think his pace is similar to Kitching so runs the same risk against the counter but his passing would be a big upgrade and allow Grimes to mix it up and be a bit further up the pitch. Don't think he's worth the figures being talked about though. Also worth remembering that Norwich conceded 10 more goals than us last seasonDo people think his pace would be an issue the way we play ?
