What didn’t you like about his character as a player ? He was Hugely successful, loyal to Chelsea, incredibly hard working, respected by his peers and various world class managers, and made the headlines on the back of the papers not the front.I’m exactly like Shmee, I didn’t want Robins gone and thought Lampard was a terrible choice. I didn’t like his character when he was a player and viewed managerial career as mediocre. I a willing to admit I was maybe wrong. We have been on an excellent run. Of course it’s possible that Robins may have turned it around also, as he had done before, but we will never know. I think Lampard had come across well and I have warmed to him. Long May it continue….

Do I like the football? Not particularly.

He’s got us winning. We are excellently placed for the play offs. The players believe and that matters more than style.
The impact on Simms in particular has been impressive.
I think we’ll need to get better to go up, but we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it. He’s turned the season around and done the job he was appointed to do so fair play Frank. You weren’t anywhere near as bad as I feared.

Yes this is fair, maybe ‘character’ was the wrong word. I just didn’t like him, maybe it was the association with Chelski, Jose, Oligarchs etc. We are used to that stuff these days but they were the first and it stank.
