Not bad for us from what I remember.

Released by Doncaster. 33 years old.

Yep, I used to like Bywater; steady pair of hands and I can't recall him making any errors in the Championship for us. With his career on the wind-down, I can't imagine he will command too much in the wages department. Experienced head at this level is just what we need.

Plenty of experience, would not command too much, experience at this level wins you points, could do worse but comes with baggage.

Not good enough for Doncaster last few seasons and he won't be good enough for us. Would rather have Murphy back. We can do better than Bywater.

NO. Having in past seasons for West Ham, us and Derby been quite reliable, mistakes have crept into his game and at the age of 33 this indicates a decline in ability, concentration, etc. If he isn't good enough for Donny, he's not good enough for us.

Or is that you would like to have anyone in goal for us whose name doesn't sound like Verge?!?

Like we would ever sign him...he would be on a fair amount of money. Will go to a championship club or backup I'm the prem.

He would have been on a fair amount of money but he's unattached now put in some promotion based bonus as an incentive
