He must be gone for this. Losing to a League 2 team must be the icing on the cake for embarrasment.

Just posted a screenshot of a post someone I know made on Favebook (Stoke fan), who said 'easiest draw ever' in response to them finding out they were playing us.

I posted the captian: 'I hope this haunts you forever'. Hahahaha!

I've always liked Mark Hughes and along with the likes of Sean Dyche, Eddie Howe and a couple of others always gives an honest assessment at the end of a game and will acknowledge if they have been beaten by a better team or weren't good enough unlike Mourinho and Wenger

If he does get sacked I wouldn't take pleasure in it....always thought he was a good bloke, effective manager and a bloody good player in him time too. Anyone who can play up front in the Div1/Premier for 20 years can't be lacking in effort or determination; the bloke was an absolute rhino for United in particular.

I’m not keen on MH, think he’s an excuse maker, nothing is ever the fault of him or his team. Having said that, it’s not good to glorify in someone’s failure or losing their job. Although he won’t be out of work for long.

agreed with the comments about not giving two hoots.

he will get million as a pay off and will walk into another prem job when a lower league team gets rid of someone, akin to alladyce, pulis, padrew, etc

Complete non news for us.

Hardly a surprise. Anything other than a resounding win would have been curtains for him.

He is one of those shit managers on the Shit Manager Merry-go-Round who will be at another club before the month is out.

I would think Hughes is nailed on for the Wales job which is probably the best job in football, absolutely no expectation to achieve anything, very little to actually do day today and yet there is the potential to be a hero should he actually do any good and all on a cushy salary too. Nice.
