Yeah was buzzing. But now pissed off. Won't know until about 10:30 if I could go. More or less only just going from one coast to the other. Average about 3 1/2 hours each way. Do the journey frequently. Now I can't get a ticket in our end and wouldn't be surprised if they stopped selling them in the home end to stop us going in there.

Thanks go to whoever made this stupid decision.

seems to be a few people saying they will allow pay on the gate if people turn up, seems like a few Grimsby supporters are saying it's happened before.
Long way for you to go to find out though.

You can buy in the youngs upper on line if you do not have a CV post code which you don't. Got mine yesterday

I have DN postcodes I could use. I could have had my lad pick me up a ticket and gine in with him. But he is in Spain. Could have had his ST if I would have known.

Like I said won't know until 10:30 at least. Oh well. Weather here has just turned for the worse. Will decide later.

Exactly. Would be better to let us in than have a couple of hundred unhappy people with nothing to do. Would love to know what idiot made this call.

It's a ridiculous decision. Just use any postcode and address. How will they know?

Wouldn't be surprised if they stopped selling home tickets though. Sounds like they have heard something through intelligence. And then used a lack of intelligence on how to deal with it.

Presumably it checks the address details are correct during online card payment.

Just google a Grimsby address! Make up a name! Collect on the gate!

The only way they can try and stop people from Coventry getting in the home end. But if you have one prepared you will be OK.

Just choose an address and do a postcode search. Pick an easy road to remember. Write the postcode on your hand. Have a look just before you purchase your ticket. Job done.

My postal address is different to my billing address. Bet I'm not alone. Another way is asking a few Grimsby fans when you're up there to buy for you. Give them the cash.

Yep I'm buzzing for this, just got on the train at Doncaster and now heading to sunny Cleethorpes.
Gutted about the ticket fiasco though, would have been nice to sell out, football fans treated like shit yet
Again.
In all honesty though, I would be more than amazed if anyone who
Traveled failed to get in
