I'm not sure SISU could have done it through the football club due to the level of debt to the owners and no written guarantee that their loans wouldn't be called in. SISU could possibly have done it through a new entity but then we are back in the situation of the football club stlll being a tenant etc. Then with the levels of interest due on the bonds how would a football rent be able to stay at current levels and give increased access to revenue streams?

I know I often and rightly (in my opinion) have a go at the council for being hypocritical bastards about Wasps. However I don't just blame them, I also believe that the owners of our club need to shoulder their share of disgrace for shipping us off to Northampton and promising us a new stadium.
