This isn't the most sober post I'm ever going to make but what a bloody fantastic result today. Wherever he is I'm sure Sir Jimmy is looking down on us with a smile on his face.

Thanks to SW88 for the commentary which was riveting. Not sure a pint per goal is a good idea though.

Just got back to Norfolk after a shite drive home, I hate the bloody A14 . Great day and one person stood out today and that was Joe Cole who was absolute class today, didn't waste one ball and the way he moved the ball around was bloody fantastic. He's had his doubters but today he was quality.
the polar opposite was Murphy who was dire from first minute to when he went off, I couldn't believe how poor he was. He showed no ability at all and everything he did or tried went drastically wrong.

anyway enjoyed the Jimmy tributes at half time and loved Killer Kilcline at half time and went right past me when he went up to the press area, fuck me he still looks scary, love to have a pint with him.

time for a much deserved whisky

Jack Ruddy not John on the bench, the keeper that played is on loan from Man City don't think he will ever get in front of Joe Hart.

where was Chris Eagles today?

Hi Rev.

Agree with you about JC, but not JM.

I thought that Murphy played very well in the first half - noticeable that the player who was marking him was substituted at half time!!!!

Anyway, the day of a 6-0 win isn't a day to fall out - particularly when I got to have two conversations with the great Ian Wallace!

Whenever I miss a game I always read through the entire match thread, it's always quality. The range of matching emotions that other posters experience is strangely reassuring!

I arrive home today at about 16:45 with my boy at the front door in his Cov kit shouting IT'S SIX NIL down the street. Loved it! :guitar2:

Love how a win makes the league table so exciting too. 6pts of 2nd. Walsall vs wigan next say too. If that's a draw a d we beat fleetwood like I am supremely confident we will right now the it gets very interesting

It started with me being very cool and telling him how he was my hero (other than Hutch) all those years ago.

He then told me the story of how he got his bubble perm, which he claimed came as a surprise to him!

Seemed a really nice guy. Saw him interviewed later where he said that the team spirit at Coventry was the best he'd experienced.

Ferguson and Wallce - those were the days!!!!

Apparently 6-0 is biggest aggregate score in a league game since 1963. Yet another tribute to JH. Ref. Jim Brown. What a day that will live long in the memory. Especially seeing Ian Wallace wearing the Brown 70's shirt and a red afro wig at HT in Legends lounge. PUSB

One of the things that pleased me most about yesterday's result was that we had 5 different scorers from all over the field. 2 from defenders, 2 from midfield, and 2 from attack. We have been crying out for the goals to be shared out

Another good game from Stokes yesterday too. I thought he just had a non league past but just looked at Wikipedia and it says that Bolton paid an undisclosed fee for him when he was 14 and was captain of Bolton's U18 team.

As Cov supporters we have all been through this, fair play to the players that came over to the Bury fans, but I get how the Bury fans feel.
