So how are you finding lovely league 1 so far?

How are we all feeling for Saturday?

Do you know much about us?

Any predictions?

If any of these questions have already popped up point me in the right way?

I'm not here for agro by the way!

I think the general feeling is that Bury will be our first 3 points of the season.

Most here don't seem happy with 1 win and 2 draws from our first three competitive matches this season, but I am pleased with the strong start in a tough league.

We do need to score at least two goals to show our attacking intent imo.

I believe this is a game we should win.but as usual probably won't.as sheff utd are league faves and after Tuesday night I'm not overly concerned about the quality in this league.

Bury - you beat us last year in the cup.
I think you play at Gigg Lane.
David Nugent may have played for you.
You have a white top and blue shorts.
Bury are one of the many North West teams that start with a B.
L1 same meat different gravy

Welcome, we have got off to an OK start, well at least we've not lost yet. Could have easy got 3 points against the Blades on Tuesday, on the other could have got nothing. I went to league cup game last season at your place, we got off to a great start, then you totally took over we were really poor that night. Pretty nervous about Saturday so called smaller teams will feel they have something to prove against us. I am sure it will be like a cup tie for Bury, but if we play to our potential we should nick the 3 points.

You have the "Frank Lampard" of League 1, Steven Schumacher? But I assume he will be suspended next Saturday because of the red card he got on Tuesday? How big blow it is for Bury?

Should be around 800-1000 Bury fans on Saturday

Our best players,

David Worrall (if fit) a very good pacey winger not scared to take anyone on
Craig Jones (will play if DW is not fit, may play anyway) See above
David Healy Obviously just signed and hopefully a debut goal or 2!

The loss of Schuey (our captain) may be a big loss but its hard to tell as we have 4 decent CM's in our squad Shane Byrne who has just signed for us after a decent loan spell may replace him in the middle but we also have the Xavi of league 1 in Peter Sweeney when he is on top form 40/50 yard passes straigh to a players feet are no problem, but if he is bad he is awful!

Im going for a 2-1 Bury win and yes I will be there!

We've only performed in patches so far. We need a 90 minute performance not just flashes. When we click we can beat anyone in the league, but it's just not happening at the moment. But we're a relegated club, confidence isn't high.

I can see Bury getting at least 1 goal when our defence dozes off. I just hope we can be scoring the other end too.

I find it odd that people have to specify that they come in peace, as if the default on the internet is to wade in screaming blue murder.

If we don't score within the first 10 mins small sections of the crowd will start to get on the players backs. If we haven't scored within 20 the boos will start after every mis-placed pass. If we go a goal down the atmosphere will be reminiscent of the Grimsby 2001 game just after we came down from the Prem.

Happy days.

Your avg attendance last year was 3,500 and you're bringing 1,000 on Saturday? Are you telling lies?

Lee, there must be a lot of Bury fans who want 'the Ricoh experience'. They obviously haven't looked at this forum!

We take an average of around 20% to away games, its our first away game on a Saturday and a new ground for a lot of people

Neville Neville owned us for a few years, Jill Neville is our secretary, Phil is a massive Bury fan Gary and Phil have both apparently gifted the Club money when we were in admin!

No way are Bury going to bring a 1,000. Looking around 250 mark. Can't wait for the 'your grounds to big for you' chant by their fans.

So how are you finding lovely league 1 so far?

I hate it as its a symptom of the poor management of our club over more than a decade. There's lots of nice things (proper fans, less prima donnas) but the quality of football (or from what little I've seen refereeing) isn't one of them.

How are we all feeling for Saturday?

Trepidatious. We can win, we should win, we need to win, we probably won't. We aren't firing on all cylinders and we are worryingly making the same mistakes that took us down last season, so now is a good time to play us. Also the locals aren't happy so anything other than a positive performance and the crowd will get on the back of our young and new players.

Do you know much about us?

Absolutely nothing. It's not personal the only teams I've ever cared about are those playing City. I know virtually nitching about the premiership for the same reason.

Any predictions?

I hope1-0 City. I fear the reverse. Or perhaps more worryingly another 1-1 after holding the lead.

If any of these questions have already popped up point me in the right way?

See te forum and you'll get a good idea of what we think. We're a little self obsessed mainly because very few of us know the league. Basically half of us want the manager out and we haven't been very convincing so far, however we have lots of new players so there's a lot of unknowns.

Hope that helps.

It's not a slight at you, more the general thing with club forums in that people must be used to opposition fans coming on for a pop.

We averaged 22.85% of our home crowd last season so we travel in all more numbers than people expect however i think we will bring around 600-700 fans.

Wasn't really looking forward to the footballing side of Coventry away but with our two new signings i'm feeling a little more confident than this time 24 hours ago.

I haven't bought a ticket yet but yes i will be purchasing one.

So from 1,000 to 700?

Bury's average is so high because of the low amount of fans they have at home.
