Poyet never managed Swindon. It was Brighton. I think Poyet got Brighton into the championship before going to Sunderland as well.

Ah yes, that's the confusion. Kept looking at Swindon and Sunderland completely baffled.

That woul be a big blow. He gets linked with every Championship job going but this one looks serious. He has taken four or five years to build what he has with us and I'm not convinced that Brentford have the same level of patience. We'd look for continuity so in theory, the wheels shouldn't come completely off.
