2 wins and 1 or 2 draws would be nice, and the 5 after that will go a long way to defining where we are. 4 of those are at home. Blackpool, Blackburn, Wigan, and QPR

You’d like to think we can beat Rotherham at home and one of Stoke or Cardiff away. Stoke are 20th

Yeah, lost to Wigan and got (by the stats) a fortunate draw against Millwall last night since Warne has left.

Strength is at home, they’ve only scored once away

Trying to convince the missus and daughter to go to this with not much luck, may be attending on my own.

Need a win, be happy with a draw, fear a loss.

Ticket sales well down on last week. Not surprising. Who wants to pay £33 to watch Burnley?

From what I've read it looks like Burnley have dominated most of their games this season, but seem to lack a cutting edge to finish teams off. Hopefully they don't find their shooting boots on Saturday, and we can get a smash and grab victory. This smacks me as the right game to go with just Gyokeres up front, with Waghorn playing in the hole behind him. If Maatsen plays we know that his weakness is defensive so Dabo really needs to put him on his heels rather than vice versa.

Managed to convince the project manager to fly me home tomorrow instead of Sunday so I'll be there, meeting up with a few friends. Not overly confident but don't think we'll get spanked, 2-0 defeat at worst. Gonna plump for a plucky 2-1 win though, fuck it.

Bidwell to rifle one in and show Maatsen we don't need him.

NEWS: Mark Robins provides injury update

Sky Blues boss Mark Robins has confirmed that Callum O’Hare will be on the sidelines for at least six to eight weeks.
www.ccfc.co.uk

Posted 6 weeks ago tomorrow, saying he’d be out for another 6-8 weeks. Now we had an update he was “back on the grass” last week and confirmed he’s back in training yesterday. You’re looking for something that’s not there.

There’s plenty of things to take aim at the club for.

A lack of minute-by-minute update’s on a player’s fitness levels is not one of them.

I've just looked at the form table for the last 5 games...we're 11th, not bad.

Championship - Form table

This statistics show the form table of the Championship between match day 41 and match day 46 in the season 22/23.

Maatsen was on the bench last night. Don't know if he has lost is place or being rested. I guess we'll see on Saturday.

He did appear partially culpable on one of the goals from what I saw.
Nowhere near stopping the cross into the box.

He's started pretty much every game and has a goal and 3 assists so far. Seems to be doing well.

Get this weird feeling that his return to playing will be sprung upon us like an ace up one’s sleeve. Don’t know why they’d do it, mind.

Surely he'll need a few reserve team games first? I'm not sure if he's actually in full contact training or not yet.
Think Kelly will be back on the bench before O'Hare

I'd love it tbf. Especially with a winning 90th minute winner against Burnley

A return to the late winners would be unparalleled providence, from the Burnley game onwards. ⚽️

I do fancy us to sneak this one, however, maybe a 2-1.
I’m basically going to predict a 2-1 win till it happens and then move onto last seasons favourite of 3-2.

Off the bench 95th minute exchange passes with Vik rifle one into the top corner.

C’mon Callum you know you want to!!

Daughter insisting on coming…. So best behaviour required. Quick beer in the Anecdote before hand and then watch a one sided 0-0 draw.

Should be a really good test this game. I think a draw is most probable but id love us to dish out a 4-1 beating from nowhere and get some momentum really building.
