Poor performance, really. Offered no threat at all.

The first goal, I swear was a replay of the same goal we've conceded 90% of the time so far this season. It's basically a copy and paste from every other game.

And how the hell the second one went in. I'm not going to put all the blame on Collins, because it should never have been able to get into the position for it to happen in the first place. I know they're coached to play out from the back, but someone's got to realise at some point there are occasions it really is better to just smash your foot through it.

If you set this team up to defend and slow the game down they just can't get out of that negative mindset.
They get stuck in 2nd gear.

Let's be honest without 2 new centre backs and quality midfielder we ain't going anywhere.

Our defence was shocking last season, yet we proceeded to bring the same defensive unit back, and spent loads of money on more strikers and yet another mid-range keeper instead. And people STILL wanted us to sign more midfielders.

We just totally lack any sort of decent quality. There’s no purpose in the passing or vision/movement, it’s all so ponderous and loose. Everyone has lead in there boots and they can’t play a pass to feet. It’s just so poor.
