Will make some howlers in a big game and be dropped. We may need to strengthen this area in Jan.

I'd go further and say the GK should be the strongest player. The strength of the goalkeeper probably has the biggest influence on the confidence of the rest of the team. It's no accident that one of Jimmy Hill's first actions was to pay a record fee for the best goalkeeper we could afford - Bill Glazier.

On the contrary one of Hill's first moves was to sell Arthur Lightening regarded a top keeper and buying the woeful Dave Meeson for £5k decent fee in those days, he was poor to say the least and eventually replaced
by Bob Wesson and then Bill Glazier.
