Not city related but it’s an empty stadium!

As much as I miss football I don't think I can suddenly enjoy German football

I think people excited for this are going to be disappointed once they start watching games in empty stadiums. I’ll stick to watching classic matches - euro 96 reruns are great

Are there any ex-Cov players in the Bundesliga? I need a team to root for.

See I can't derive enjoyment out of football when I know the result. Therefore I'm looking forward to the Bundesliga and something unpredictable

Was switching back and forth through the three channels
Ended up staying with Leipzig v Freiburg as it was the most evenly matched
Like watching youth and u23 games you get used to the empty stands after a while
Nice to be able to watch some decent football but another ridiculous VAR decision chalked off a late winner for Freiburg despite not a single complaint from the Leipzig players

It was football. Football without fans isn't great but it's better than no football at all.

Watched most of it today. First half of the early games were terrible but once the players got into it, it was great.

Weird, and certainly worse, without the fan noise.

Here's a question. With all squad, staff etc tested and proving not to have the virus. Wtf then are they all sat on the subs bench wearing masks, seperate buses in etc when they've all been tested to not have the virus. Have we lost site of what this is? It isn't airborne, it doesn't suddenly sneak up on you.

If I'm virus free and you are virus free and we both sit in a room together, why are we both wearing masks?

Then they're removing the masks anyway to shout instructions onto the pitch!

Watching today's game on BT with the sound down listening to Sounds of the 70's on the radio
Don't notice the lack of crowd that way
And don't have to suffer Steve Mcmanaman or Michael Owen whining away

Not bad and certainly no worse than most of the premier league games you see on sky
