Kopitar is greatOut here in California I go to NHL hockey and our local hockey team has a good idea for attracting supporters. They give out a free bobble head at certain games. The head looks like one of the players and it's a collectible item because over the full season you can get the whole team. It's a great incentive to go to the game because people want to collect the full set of heads.
Moreover, the only way you can get one is by turning up to the stadium early (as supply is limited) so it also increases the sales of food and beverages with early footfall. I am guessing the bobble head would only cost about a quid to manufacture if the club gets several thousand done in one go. Although they are cheap they are quite good as collectibles (I have them lined up on a shelf in my office). It would be a great way to attract young fans especially as match programmes are now being viewed as less of a collectible item.
Thats the one with a hole in the topNo fucker would turn up when they hand out the Vincenti bobble.
How much is a ticket for a game over there though?
Kopitar is great
No crosby mind you
why are you some sort of big wig?i met him here in toronto at the world cup hockey at private event was chatting to him for good hour very nice guy, i didnt have a nhl team so decided pick la kings thanks to him and he even stayed in contact with me on fb said if i was ever out in la can go for a game of golf lol.
in a world where grown men would rather play fifa ultimate team than use real life teams i would say yes.....yes they would.Don't think anybody would go to a game specifically for one of those would they?

good idea from OP
We dont know thwy for sure. I could see cov fans wanting to grab a few
but its not to get non ccfc fansYes, but realistically are people going to go to games just because they can get a free figure?
I have no interest in going to watch Cov Blaze, if they started giving out free figures it wouldn't change my mind.
but its not to get non ccfc fans
its to get ccfc fans who dont attend many games
and we have lots and lots of them

he hasnt said its make or break, just an idea to get more fans inBut why would a plastic figure be the make or break to get them there?
Realistically, how many fans will be "I wasn't going to bother but I went to just get the figure?"
I can understand for example fans going anywhere doing something they wouldn't usually like getting there half an hour early to go in the family zone to get a figure as they are going anyway, but it isn't going to be the deciding factor is it?

someone mentioned free dvd for st holders etc
same line of thinking
It wouldn't make people think "I really don't want to go today but I have to so I can get my figure of a player".
It might be a nice gesture, but it isn't going to be something that makes or breaks a decision to go to a game or not.
“De-fence” clap clap clap “De-fence”
