BT line/broadband fault (1 Viewer)

Got BT phone line and broadband at home. Couple of weeks ago phone line stopped working but broadband was fine. Checked various things and eventually called BT out. Engineer arrived this morning to sort it, but then had to get 2nd engineer out. He now says there is a problem with the broadband actual wiring (but hadn't been having any problems previously) We are now stuck in the situation that the phone is working but not the broadband now and we don't know how to sort it.

A colleague we know used to do all our inside wiring inside for us but he is not around anymore so does anyone know an engineer who knows their stuff and could sort out the internal wiring to get it all back working. Obviously someone who doesn't charge the earth either (if anyone like that exists)

Any help would be gratefully received as this is all totally beyond us mere mortals.

Just to let you know we have now found an engineer who came out the same day and fixed all the problems for us, thankfully.
