I've watched a bit of A league highlights on sky sports and never thought too much of him at the time but I wouldn't claim to be an expert. Not the most mobile of players but good in the air 'Clive Platt???' . Looking at his YouTube highlights he looks pretty decent, I wouldn't be disappointed if he signed.

I do remember when Luca Becchio signed from Leeds and he was a goal machine in L1. Although he was Argie... it seems bringing in players other teams have never seen brings an element of surprise.
