Robins is a decent manager, as stated before, he did a great job at Rotherham and then went to Barnsley and got them there highest finish in the championship since they got promotion out of that league back when Danny Wilson was there manager.
So I don't see where mediocre comes into that.
Allways done it on a budget and the other thing I like about him is that when he was a player, he was a striker, unlike Coleman, Thorn ect ect.

His spell at Barnsley appears not to be mediocre when you consider they would have been relegated last season if not for Portsmouth's 10 point deduction!

I have gone for Ince, remember he was seen as a rising star until his move to Blackburn. Did a great job at Chesterfield and MK Dons the first time round. However I'm not that inspired by any of them...

Hello as name suggests miller in peace if you do get Robins then you won't go far wrong he saw us through to admins and if he had stayed we would be playing championship footy at least. Hope things turn around for you.

The last one who just won matches in my eyes got shafted by the club! Boothroyd wasn't a bad manager and to think we were 5th and Christmas in the championship before everything fell apart (mostly the board not telling him about the transfer embargo cheers Ray)
I'm sorry but he still had a good enough squad post Christmas. Perhaps his pre Christmas run was just his honeymoon period?
He had no central midfielders for 3 games tryed to bring in 2 players only to find out he couldn't, pressure mounted and he went, Bens dad always tells my dad that if Carso and Ben had been fit all season we would have at least been in the top 10!
