Does this mean he won't be answering questions on here any more Nick? I felt sure it would have been some time next week.

Weve been looking into coming onto here rob and we are leaving no stone unturned in trying to find out if it is possible or not for someone to come on here and answer your questions, however since we have just lost our technical expert we will have to look at another way of communicating closley with the fans.
We were thinking of a quill and some papyrus what do you think of our communication programme?
Your thoughts on this idea would be much appreciated as we do care about our image within the community.

I cannot believe that anyone is naive enough to believe that this bastion "yes that is the word intended" of the modern technological ,media ,commerce ,entreprenurial world of high stakes
powerdriven buiness , with matching ego could possibly have been misled by Igwe ,Ken or any other involved with Sisu.Any statements he made he has the accumen to know whats possible or impossible. He is the only shareholder with a stake over 10% and i expect him to offload them in the near future to whoever eventually takes over the club ,gaining a seat on the board to work from within.:thinking about:

Utter nonsense. To identify the long-term, beyond-the-pitch value of a key player displays no ignorance at all. "Marlon King is an exceptionally valuable player to CCFC"/"You know nothing about football!" Bah.

Interesting that you use the term 'franchise player' so correctly and so soon after saying that it doesn't translate to UK sports... As for the replacement, nowhere to be seen. Does this mean he lied? Nobody can ever know. It's another of the pitfalls of communicating with the fans. Better to say nothing at all with people like you holding onto every word for dear life.

Go apply a wet cloth to your face. If you fluster yourself every time you hear different points of view you really shouldn't be on a forum.

You really think that "Franchise Player" is a term used in British football? And you completely missed the irony in my throwing the use of the term "Franchise Player" back at Brody. Now that is dense.

Right in the very first press conference in March you could tell that Len was Blagging his head off with not a full set of the facts and perhaps more importantly the circumstances or context at his disposal. He made statements at that table "This Club is not for Sale" - that he couldn't even stand up against a mild challenge in a follow up question without digging deeper.
On twitter he undertook an effort to engage with fans almost as if that was his sole task - keep fans at bay with a channel of engagement whilst Ken and Onye could go about their business. The Hoffman and King sagas show well enough how he fouled up on facts and context, and in at least one instance seriously overstretched his grasp on the facts.
Do you know Len's speeches on Social Media and Digital Marketing? His Hypothethis is that people Trust more on digital in real life, you can influence with less recourse to fact and context in New Media. We've been Guinea Pigs in a grand experiment that has likely put this notion under some stress. Good for us.

I think someone has hit you on the head with the candlestick in the Ballroom. This can be the only expanation for this facile defence of a clueless individual who contributed nothing. Franchise player in UK sport means nothing - he probably thinks we are an American Football Team. Did he ever have a role anway? No. Did he achieve anything? No. Will he be missed? No.

Well said, sir! Yes he really is a snake in the grass. He was an absolute joke at that initial press conference, and it has been utterly humiliating to have such a buffoon speak in a capacity where he represents the club. He's a prime example of the downsides of the internet and modern communications: there are a lot of very unscrupulous people who just use it as a huge way of making money.

I'd never really liked Ranson that much until I heard the barely concealed contempt in his voice when he discussed Len. He seemed to be sending a huge warning to us all that we were about to be fed a stream of bullshit that would make his own tenure seem like a Golden Age. You can sense that Thorn shares Ransons sentiments about our owners, but he masks them whenever the questions get too tricky by cracking a gag.

Yep, we saw Lennie off alright. Here's hoping he was a massive Jonah too, and that we now go off on a 15 game winning streak in celebration of our release from being spoon fed the warm diarrhea of his digital platitudes.

Whole lot of idiocy and ignorance in this thread, all mixed up with a bit of xenophobia. I'm not getting involved.

Is Brody still a director of OTIUM? Exactly what has he resigned from, the article on the official site only mentions Covertry City Football Club, but he was a director of 4 companies, Coventry City Football Clb being only one of them.

No, I don't think he was. He may not have gone about it in the right way maybe, but at least he tried to communicate with the fans. And what did he get for it? Abuse. No wonder the communication is lacking with Coventry City. We scream for communication and when we get it we call it all lies anyway!

“I would say bringing investment into any club, particularly in the Championship, is very difficult,” said Brody, who is no longer on any board of the club’s affiliated companies, including Otium Entertainment Group which was set up in April."

According todays CET article, he's no longer on any of the boards.

Anyone see this article? Made me laugh when giving his excuses why he didnt attend any games.........."All the times I was in Coventry was either on none-game days or when there were no games happening........" Are these not the same thing?? Or is it just awful quoting from CET??

I said the exact same thing!! I'm guessing what he means is that he was either here during the week or on weekends when there were no games on, but it's put really badly!

I took it as meaning he was thinking about baseball, which has a game around 3 or 4 days out of 5, hence "non-game days", rather than football, which he isn't really into.

Idiocy is allowed, show me thread without anyone and it's probably a bore.
Ignorance? Well that's the point, we are talking about being bereft of facts, honesty etc.
Xenophobia? I think that means fear of foreigners, yes? Is that what was meant? Don't see it myself, you could have been born and bred in Swan Lane and been a dyed in the wool Cov Kid and if you puffed on about Digital Outfacing Stakeholders, Brand Profile and Franchise Players you would be called out for being a Digital Cock. Nowt to do with where he came from.
