Never mind British Steel I reckon the future of the human race and it's sanity is in question, the world is bloody bonkers.

Now start dictating on all major procurement of ships, bridges, tanks etc that they must only use British Steel
The Chinese want to shut it down onthe presumption we will buy their steel that they have overproduced and can't sell to the yanks

Or the food and drink industry. Or football clubs. Hairdressers. barbers or nail salons. Money launderers. Supermarkets. Currys.

Isn’t that more likely if steel remains in private hands? Albeit Chinese ones.

I hate to break it to you but people working in these industries also get days off.

As we’ve just seen the problem with handing key infrastructure to geopolitical enemies is they randomly decide to shut down blast furnaces during a trade war and not tell you.
