Think the new appointment should bring a new spring in the step.

Shame he still only has to work with the same old players though.

Would have been so much much better with a fresh face or two in the side.

Draw would be good, but we really could do with the win.

1-2. McCann and Sordell.

The same old players proved under MV honeymoon period that when they're confident, they CAN win games! As long as Gadshev is nowhere near the match day squad we should be alright!

2 - 0. Agyei and Wright......I jest.

I am going 2-0 but Sordell and Bigi. It will be really interesting to see his team selection and tactics/formation as it will give a strong indication as to who he likes and his style of play.

Win, lose or draw today I'm hoping it's a fresh start for this team and also for the long suffering SBA. Really want Slade to freshen up the starting XI and shitty formation we've been playing.

A form of 4-4-2 would do me with RCC in goal, Sterry and Page full backs, Willis and Turnbull centre halves, Reid and Jones as out and out wingers with Rose and McCann in the middle. Sordell and Agyei up top in a 2-1 victory

I agree with all of that. I think we might have a chance of a win if we score first.

I know we are shit but I think we are a massive price at 3/1 today with a new man at the helm hopefully we get that new manager effect today

I didn't even look at our odds. I try not to bet on City but that does seem a decent price, I'm tempted.

I fancy a 1-0 win today. Sordell with the goal.

Can't imagine it being pretty but I believe Slade is the man to keep us up, starting today.

Nothing on Twitter yet, edit just on. Looms 442 with rose on right, Reid left and Tudguy with sordell up from.

Could be a 4-4-2 with Rose and Reid on the wings. Hopefully.

If the team posted above is correct, I feel a little better. Playing with Ageyi and Wright is like starting the match with 9 men.

That said, despite a new manager, our players are still pretty awful and I think we will struggle to get a result today.

1-0 Rovers.

Not sure I agree about Ageyi, though he's not the greatest player he does contribute sometimes. You right about Wright though.
I'd have preferred Ageyi in place of Tudgay.

Fair, I definitely agree that Wright is the real pedestrian. Not even on the bench is he?

Let's hope Slade has bombed him out already!

definitely a waste of a loan. Be amazed if he doesn't go back to West Brom.

That side I 441 as Tudgay is a waste if space, even if he scored four today I would still think he is shit

Would rather Thomas was starting ahead of Tudguy, but probably the strongest team we have. A lot of experience in that side

Looks like Slade worked out Wright pretty quickly. How on earth he has got a contract with a PL club is beyond me.

Its either

--------------RCC
Sterry-Wills-Turnbull-Page
Rose--Bigi----McCann--Reid
-------tudguy-Sordell

Or

--------------RCC
Sterry-Wills-Turnbull-Page
------Rose-Bigi-McCann
--sordell-tudguy-Reid

The 442 looks more balanced to me, rose isn't a conventional winger but looked OK at wingback and will attack crosses at the back post
