tbh I'm just looking forward to this being a football match, not a protest event, and seeing what Slade does in terms of selection and formation. It won't take much to beat BR (they've lost four out of last 6 with only 1 win and 1 draw and last game they lost 2-0 to Shrewsbury) so with a bit of renewed confidence and no stupid messing with formation/team I reckon we can do it. Looking forward to a good day out.

Who said there were no protests planned?
Something planned for every game until they fuck off.

We need the win so you need to pick your best team and your best players and McCann is definitely one of them.

For me, he plays.

Spot on otis.
Would want us to play our best team regardless... And we aren't in the position where not playing a good player (who is still being paid and our player), for 2 games is a good idea. I appreciate the idea of trying to play the people who (may) be with us going forward, but we have selected Slade as manager to deal with selection issues (loans, injuries, suspension), and would assume his line ups should be strongest available now, not players who may be with us on 1st February!

Keep an eye on the clubs twitter. Assuming its not a sell out they often say in advance its all ticket and then change it to POTG.

Hopefully they will all be trying to impress the new manager. If so I can see a high tempo game, with lots of effort and hopefully a narrow win. Will be interesting to see the team he puts out and wether there is a change in formation.

Imagine how gutted we're all going to be when it's 4-3-3 with Agyei up top and Sordell/Wright on the wings!!

More time? He's already had days! He's had long enough. Too long in fact. Win or bust (and the sack)

Safe journey to all those hardy travelers, have a feeling your loyalty will be rewarded.
Going for a 0-2 win Stevenson and Sordel. Here's hoping.

We have won games this season and Bristol Rovers were a conference side the season before last. New manager bounce should help us 2-1.

Anybody know of a pub city fans are congregating?

if Slade is capable of getting a decent performance out of Tudgay he should be managing Bayern Munich not City!

if he resorts to his favourite 4-4-2 then I'd go with Sordell and Agyei up front with Thomas on the bench.
I'd play whatever team is needed to start his City tenure off with a win so as much as I can see the logic of dropping McCann seen as he'll soon be off, if he makes us stronger then I'd put him in.

Don't care if he plays Tudgay at right back as long as we get a result today (although it may make be scratch my head in confusion) !

Win, lose or draw today I'm hoping it's a fresh start for this team and also for the long suffering SBA. Really want Slade to freshen up the starting XI and shitty formation we've been playing.

A form of 4-4-2 would do me with RCC in goal, Sterry and Page full backs, Willis and Turnbull centre halves, Reid and Jones as out and out wingers with Rose and McCann in the middle. Sordell and Agyei up top in a 2-1 victory.

Leaving now, safe trip to the rest of the lunatics crazy enough to spend Boxing Day away to Bristol Rovers. See you down there and let's make some noise!! PUSB!
