let's not forget that Doncaster have two games in hand and forest have 1

Yep, know that.

I am now of the belief that Forest will pull away from danger. That win at Brum was massive and they have been in the play-offs the last two seasons, which goes to show that they do have some good players.

I think Donny will be one of the 3 to go. Think we need to look to Bristol and Pompey now to be honest.

Yes and to think that we would have set them off on this run!

Bristol are clearly the one team in real decline. Despite our improved form we haven't really closed the gap on anyone else.

The effect of administration on Portsmouth is yet to be seen. I still see then accumulating points they seem to have a resolve.

Well that's what I said at the time about Forest. They were in such a terrible run and had only scored 1 goal in 8 home games.

Good old Sky Blues gift them two and break their duck and probably set Forest on a good run.

Thanks lads.

Our games against them 2 are clearly decisive. On paper our next 4 are tough as well.

Well, I am looking to other teams to fail to be honest.

We have no choice, they have to fail - if they dont we're down

Agreed.

Other teams need to fail. It's just too much to expect, for us to go and get another 5 wins from somewhere.

I am very much worried about the next two games and can see us maybe only coming away with 1 point from Leshtur and Palace.

Morning!! Otis do you not think another club will slip into the mix? I have a strange feeling the peterborough will be caught. Millwall and forest will be okay i think. Donny and IMO portsmouth are 2 that will go. Leaves us and Bristol in reality (maybe 1 other). I stand by what i have said that we will pick up 4 out of the last 5 games at home. i always had us down to lose to brum, maybe they are starting there slide, time will tell.

I did think Peterborough could slip down. They are 10 points clear of us though. It's a big gap.

Palace away
Millwall home
Blackpool home
Ipswich away
Reading home
Barnsley away
West Ham home
Leshtur home

Then us at our place.

Forest home

If Posh are in trouble when we play them, what's the betting Mr Norwood has a cold on that day and won't be able to play.

That's why I say we need other teams to fail.

Holy Smoke - thats a hard run-in for Peterborough, probably don't get much harder than that actually. They may well get caught up in it, although they're relatively decent at home.

Its out of our hands as it stands though. I agree Donny will probably go, Pompey may still get more points deducted - can't really predict what they'll do to be honest. As for Bristol, they're in free fall and will hopefully stay that way - our game against them in April looks a bit massive don't it

Agree with Duffy on this. Pompey's goal difference tells you their team is much stronger than ours.

It could come down to injuries and which small squad can cope. No doubt if they get any the FA will let them get a quality loan from the Premier League - one that we couldn't afford!

I really think you should be relegated automatically for going into administration. That'd make owners take it seriously.

Bristol are possibly the team on the biggest decline, but that doesnt change the fact that we must win there anyway. If we dont, we either arent catching up or they are running away from us. Only way we can seriously hope of staying up is other teams dropping point,s us ideally not losing at home, and beating the teams around us ( Bristol, Millwall, Portsmouth ) .

Bristol city away is a massive game, the sky blue army will no doubt turn out in force unfortunately when this happens city nearly always let us down...if we win one away game this season it needs to be this one PUSB

A win this weekend would be massive in so many counts. I feel if we win on Saturday we might just stay up as it will be Back to Back , an away win , against you know who. If that does not give the players some confidance after that then nothing will.

AT has to give them the Churchill speech this week all day long at training and get them up for it !!

Totally agree.

Almost impossible to put in terms just how massive a win would be this weekend.

Portsmouth have the toughest run in I think and Bristol are on the slide at the moment, Pompy at H and Bristol A going to be the defining games or not do you think?

Looking at Peterboro's games, i geniunely think they will get less than 4 more points! 4 home wins, would put us within touching distance.......we just need 1 away win, but where???????? (or 2 draws would be nice )

I am sure Appleton will be contacting the FL moaning how unfair their run in is and could it be amended for poor little Pompey. Maybe they could get 1 pint for just turning up, 2 points for a draw and 6 for a win as that would be fair for the poor little lambs.

I have a feeling we may only get 1 point from the next two matches.

That will alwmost certainly increase the pressure on us.

I assume you forgot we have palace in between? i agree with nothing (though starting to lean towards draw against blues) from Fester and Blues. But hopefull of beating palace and avenging the last few minute disgrace at selhurst earlier in season.

Maybe our players get 1 pint for turning up to away games and that's why we haven't won away all season!!! LOL!

Bet you're regretting that typo now ashbyjan! Sorry, but couldn't resist!!!
