Dovin kept us in it.
Dasilva did well in the end.
Alien and Torp had great games
Great assist from rudoni
Great finish from bta but should have done better after.
Simms won some great headers and got into the game

Despite the goal I thought BTAs general play was worse than in the previous 2 games. He’s a funny one. Great finish though.

Dasilva was very good today.

Dovin MOTM
Allen and Torp not far behind.
Simms continues his improvement,
BTA was poor until that outstanding match winning finish, so he's forgiven.

When he is on his game, I genuinely just love Ellis Simms. When he has confidence and he's running at people he's such as beast.

His passing has improved massively too. Plays such a big role in helping us build an attack.

Dovin class
MVE bloody idle but picked up later
Lati scary moments but we kept a clean sheet
Binks about the same as Lati
Kitching good solid performance
Midget played well today
Torp decent game battled well
Allen very good even won some headers
Rudoni not great today seemed off it
Simms battled well held the ball up
Asante dog shit control but great goal then back to dog shit

Eccles not great can see why Franks dropped him can't see why we gave him a new deal
Norman didn't really get involved

3 wonderful points so as a team great and a clean sheet

Dovin showing why we bought him. Miles ahead of the other 2 keepers and no idea why he was never an automatic starter
Kitching is our best CB and proving why he should start every game.
JDS still fills me with dread but fair play for that effort today.
Allen impressive since he came back.
Simms starting to look as he did during his good spell last season. Just keep playing him.
BTA great finish but pretty rubbish other than that.

Good 3 points . Need to get through to the end of the season and then reassess. Can't complain if we keep picking up points.

BTA can play shite all he wants but if he scores I really couldn’t care less about his performance. Fair play to him today, actually thought he played well and caused them problems.

Allen, Simms and Dovin really good. Solid game from the defence overall apart from a few dodgy passes from Latibaudiere.

Really happy for Thomas-Asante, runs himself into the ground every game

Wish I could see what you all do in Simms. To me he looks devoid of confidence and desperate for a goal. Missed a sitter again, timed jumps for aerial balls badly and the ball bounces off him. Can't fault his effort in the channels, but that's all I'm seeing. Feels a bit like the Emperor's new clothes with so many saying it, so perhaps it's me, as he just never looks like scoring.

Dovin motm. Rudi played well as did Allen and surprisingly JDS. Wouldn't have been my selected team but fair play, can't fault the effort today, just lacking in a bit of quality.

MVE 6
Latibeaudiere 6.5
Binks 6
Kitching 7.5
Dasilva 8
Allen 7.5
Torp 7.5
Rudoni 7(+1 for assist)

I thought midfield where better than the Sheaf, Eccles + another combo we have seen to date this season.

Dovin.....8
MVE....6
Lati....6
Binks....7
Kitching....7
Da Silva....7
Allen....8
Torp.....7
Rudoni....6
Simms....6
BTA.....6 (extra point for goal)

MVE needs a rest....looks a completely different player
Rudoni....great in possession, ball watches out of possession
Allen......brilliant game...shows up a lot of better players
Lati.....nearly cost us a goal when they attacked late down their left hand side and he just let the player go. Does some things really well but always has a mistake in him
BTA......his touch today was good, did the hard part and then couldn't offload to one of our players

I’m surprised at the high ratings for Simms, he was more involved but generally used the ball poorly

Thought Simms was excellent today - ran tirelessly in the right channels, held the ball up well and made a nuisance of himself. Makes a huge difference having a proper out ball up front.

Subs have been poor lately. Can't remember the last time anyone has come on and made a positive impact. Eccles has been dreadful in his two cameos. I was also annoyed by Bassette letting players go by him without any pressure in the closing moments.

Same. He was outstanding today.

With a little effort, he can bully defenders. I just wish he had the mentality to consistently put the graft in.

He was at the heart of all the best attacks. Constantly flicking it on to Asante.

Dovin excellent
Lati, Binks, Kitch did what was needed but had a few hairy moments
DaSilva a good game
MVE decent game, failed to get several shots he had on target in the first half
Torp, Allen solid play, got better in 2nd half
Rudoni some great play esp. the goal assist and some awful misplaced passes
BTA looking twice the player he does on the wing when in his natural position and what a great goal!
One criticism it is that he often spurns opportunities to pass quickly when he wins the ball in the opposition half & gets dispossessed.
Simms, if he keeps playing like that he will crack in a few soon enough, he certainly had a few chances
Eccles didn't get into the game & was not terribly good today
Hound only on for a few mins

Simms will be fine again second half this season.

He's looking a lot better than he was earlier in the season once he gets a goal he'll go on to get another 10-12 before May.

The idea of a fluid front 3 with an inform Simms, EMC and Wright together makes me aroused.
