Taking into consideration many factors, the game on Wednesday could be considered a big one.

If we lose this game we will be out of all competitions and sitting in 18th place just a few weeks before Christmas. I believe that this is an almost must win game for Pressley.
A win will result in another sell out Ricoh crowd, which once again is big for this club. It is obvious that the club is losing fans at a scarily quick rate, this is a perfect opportunity to win them back, even if it is only for one game.
Most of all though, we need success. I do not care if it is only the JPT, there are thousands of fans who haven't seen the club do well in their lifetime, let alone get to Wembley. I am sure that we would sell the full allocation and wouldn't it be great having a day out at Wembley with 50,000 other Coventry fans to look forward to!

Unfortunately Bristol City are the strongest side in this competition and I must admit that I think it is most likely that we will lose on Wednesday. Then it will go back to 'it is only JPT' .

Some are calling it our biggest game of the season - shows how far we have fallen if that is the case for a JPT area semi. Some are getting as excited as the Crewe game. Feck that - I wouldn't even go if it was at home never mind in Bristol.

I am starting to enjoy it less and less, at the start it was different and I thought we would have one year in it win it and get promoted.

No I won't, didn't go to Crewe either - didn't understand what all the fuss was about. So what if we get a day out at Wembley, meanwhile the club is disintegrating and we're rotting in the lower leagues!

Yeah, exactly. Who wants a day out at Wembley in front of 40,000 City fans and some silverware in the trophy cabinet, eh? No-one, that's who!

I hate success, no matter how small it may be.

To be fair Otis, until we're playing the like of Bayern Munich at home every season in European matches, like in the good old days (IIRC !?) then we'll never be what we were and deserve to be ointlaugh::sarcasm:. At the moment I'd settle for a friendly against Trakia Plovdiv !!!

Exactly - we regularly used to play the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Man U, beating each of them several times each during the Prem era. With the right management on and off the pitch we could be back there in a few short years years - just look at Southampton and where they were in 2009 (and don't say "the catalyst for their success was winning the the JPT" because that's not true).

Remembering that, I can't get excited about a trophy for which we shouldn't even be eligible. I can't even remember who won the JPT last year. It's an irrelevant sideshow. I have been to Wembley plenty of times and live in London so can visit whenever I want. Yes going for the final would be a good day out, but so are most away days - it wouldn't be a special occasion.

Good... we don't need that kind of support do we.

Seeing as you've pledged not to come to the Area final if we were to get through.. it can go to someone that deserves it... not a WUM with his head buried up Anne Lucas' arse.

Even though I would like to see us get to the final he is right in away.

We are all hoping that City could win this shit cup, fuck me most teams don't even take the league cup seriously some even hate the FA Cup unless they are not in the top 6.

But hey come on City we need a happy day out

Why does everyone always quote Southampton .. Markus lieborr pumped 10's of millions into the club to get them up and in the first season of doing so they finished only 7th in league 1 ...
