Despite a start that took them to top spot after six games Brighton's fortunes have dipped in line with CCFC with them only winning one game out of the last 11 scoring 9 and conceding 16.

With our improved performances of late against higher opposition (but no luck in securing more deserved points) and with Gary Gardner directing traffic in centre mid SURELY the time is ripe for a 3 point haul at the Amex Stadium on Saturday.

I have predicted a 2-1 win scoreline for CCFC (I scored 5 points from my last two forecasts) and I am highly confident !!!

Nurse .........................

ps:

They have maintained their support throughout this bad spell averaging about 20,000 per home game.

We were surely going to win at Morcambe weren't we? I really hope we win at Brighton - we are more than capable of it - but there is no 'surely' about it.

And we were surely going to lose at Old Trafford or Ewood Park, weren't we?

Moan, moan, moan, moan....

Didn't mean to promote World War 3 folks - just trying to encourage some banter/opinion that's relevant to the playing side of things for a change - seems to be a rarity these days.

Don't think it's a needless thread when it concerns CCFC - so can you critics respond with enthusiasm and contribute to what is a superb platform for debate in Sky Blue Talk - don't waste it.

Not a moan, Torchy. Just pointing out that there are no certainties in football.

Just wondered what made everyone so confident of the 3 points against Brighton ?.... on another thread some have us down to do the double on them. I know they are not in good form but we are not getting the results either. Watched them a couple of times on the telly and they played ok but got let down by individual errors - sound familiar ? We do sometimes understimate the so called weaker sides far too often...... there were similar comments about Barnsle and Doncaster.

This is no gimme and we will do well to come away with 3 points this weekend - which of course I hope we do !!!!

No worse than you calling someone a "cock" because they dare to disagree with you.

Brighton are doing crap now. Their start of season buzz has now gone. I expect them to be in the relegation battle at the end of the season. We are playing a bit better. mWe have still lacked the midfield to forward spark. Gardner will have a point to prove. From what I have heard we are lucky to have him.

Hopefully we will start a winning streak with him in the team and get attendances up. SISU will then see how much we need this style of player and also how much more money a winning side brings in than a losing side. Well, I can dream, can't I?

We are 4/1 for the away win with Paddy Power. I've done a double chance at 11/10 on the City win or draw. All they have to do is not lose!!!

Ah yes, the art of quoting ones own posts when one is right. Not so likely when one is incorrect. Please make similar predictions for all our games and quote away!

Now listen up you doubters (especially Cloughie) of my prediction prowess, I really did get the score right, be fair - but unfortunately it went to the wrong team - we can't all be perfect can we ???
