If he’s linked with us and Birmingham, then evidently he either hasn’t signed a new contract on new terms or is willing to take a big pay cut.
Contract extensions in the club’s favour tend to be automatic, no change in the salary.
For what it’s worth, I believe there’s definitely a big offer on the table for Bright on new terms, but if he’s signed a new deal on new terms, he wouldn’t be linked with a move away.
We did a little bit last year with Connor Chaplin, dragged on for what seemed ages. He’s actually deleted loads of pictures off his Instagram which I found odd. Although he only left 2 pictures from his time at CCFC so if anything it was just another tease!
