Probably the same source that told you about Andy Thorn's departure, probably the same source that said the Southgate deal was off. Dyche is still first choice.

Dyche is on SSN at the moment so certainly not deep in talks!

Wow, what a signing this would be! However I've seen him linked with burnley only today and with his former bournemouth manager Eddie Howe in charge at Turf Moor, it seems a more likely destination...if the player is actually available!
