Heard from an unreliable source this morning that he’s refused a new contract with Northampton and will be signing with us.

Highly rated by the Cobblers fans. Was a key part of their L2 winning team a couple of years ago. Had a few injuries though.

The more Irish players the better (he may of course merely have an Irish name of course!).

have feeling it will be Willis and Concrete, Rotherham still coveting Willis by the all the vibes out there and i think Rod pissed on his chips with Squeeky regarding that debacle of a Yeovil game which he blamed Rod for. There again its hjust my supposition and probably a load of shite on my behalf

if true you would think it means someone's going. Where specifically in defence does he play? We're still short of right back cover.

Or even better, a replacement for Grimmer. A fair amount of the goals we conceded last season came from that side.

Did that depend partly on who was in front of him although I too reorganise a fair number of goals originated down that wing ?

33% might be classified as a fair amount and equal to those coming from the other side and through the middle!,

What shite, he was one of our better players last season. It isn't his fault that he often had very little defensive support in front of him.

He stood out as their best player when they played us a couple of seasons back. He was just coming back from injury too. I thought he looked decent.

If only 1 in 100 goals are from Burge fuck ups then I’m sure Liverpool will be calling for his services soon enough!

I would be extremely surprised if a defender who made the most appearances of any defender in a team with a pretty excellent defensive record is dropped next season. Only one goal away from being the best defence in the division.
