The noise from only 400 of them was incredible. To them, the match did seem incidental to the drums, chants, jumping and swaying, but very entertaining to watch! A whole stadium of them would be something to see. We'll check it out when we're in Europe in a few seasons time

When we played Bayern Munich about 20 years ago in a friendly the german lads banter was hilarious...how it should be

Got to hand it to them for stamina but I really don't like the German ultra culture.

It's just a continuous drone. Doesn't ebb and flow to match what's happening on the pitch. Similar vibe to those sodding Vuvuzela things just a racket that you mentally tune out of.

Give me proper chants and big reactions to the actual actions on the pitch any day

Yes, also because they had the word ‘Coventry’ painted on the top which they omitted to remove in early wartime.

I think by that time they would have known where they were - The holders would have been the final marker for the minute 2 miles south journey to target area.

Spot on for me.

I hate it when the CBS goes quiet but equally wouldn't want us to drone on without reacting to what goes on.

Never seen ultras before in person and they impressed me, especially with the bouncing (thank goodness it was here at the CBS and not some other grounds as I recall a few from childhood actually swaying & bowing, Liverpool springs to mind). Loved the flags too.

If we don't have a conductor with a mega phone for at least one game this season, we're missing a trick.

This, it's about them and not the game. It's performance for performance sake.

Two drummers at the front banging out the tunes is a must for this season and would love to see us all bouncing at Stoke. Would look awesome with 3000 sba

Fantastic noisy support. For only 300 ish !
Had a chat with a couple and they say they have about 10,000 at that level at home games. Loads around Arena Tesco and a few in the Gatehouse plus a good mob in the Wetherspoons at the Skydome all getting royally slaughtered as we left! Fair play, spending loads of dosh in Cov and no hint of bother.

German football is an excellent experience. I would recommend anyone going over and taking in a couple of games at a weekend.
Cheap, good natured and high quality.
