Sisu had an option to stay at the Ricoh, they wanted to break the lease, break ACL and try to get the CCC to fall apart in hope of getting the Stadium. They used our club to do this, they did not care about the city then or about the damage it would create for the future, 133 years of the club being connected until TF came up with his bright idea. Him and SW the worm of a man still liked FFS, he was a massive part of thinking it was right. He was also the 1 that thought after being there how stupid it was, they soon come running back when they knew Wasps were sniffing round.

Now, does this make me a Wasps fan,, NO i will never go, will never be interested in the results, i dont care for them. But we have to face facts, they come in when Sisu thought bullying all was a good idea. So for Sisu the simple answer is, you cant be pushed if you already have shown the desire and will to leave. You cant be honest when you have shown the ability to be underhanded, and you cannot say your leaving and show pictures of your BS plans outside of the city without any future consequences. They are crying and using the club and its fans to create an air of being the Victim!!! they should of thought of this before thinking breaking the lease was a fantastic idea, any fan that thinks it was the right idea then, now should ask themselves, where are we now. Out of a house, out of talks to secure our academy and crying on the doorstep of those we tried to break, maul and threaten.

Most knew Wasps, Higgs and the CCC are connected by mutual interests and most have been barked at by SISU, well now Sisu have barked at the wrong dog, and we as fans are left with nothing to look forward to. Because little Sisu are now in the shit, holding our club up as the great Coventry Club with history thats unbroken for decades, well until Sisu took it away that is. So CA look at our past under your bosses and try to understand what the fans have seen and the road you are on, we deserve better from you and the owners, the other parties will have to live with their actions and the part they have played. But they will hold no responsibility for our owners past actions that have effected today's decisions.

And I hasten to add, I am by no means saying that is the one and only narrative!

I am, however, saying that the Football League cannot reasonably be expected to sit and make a judgement *against* its football club, and *for* a Rugby Union club.

Think about the consequences for *that* to the setup as it exists.

tbh, I wouldn't have expected us to survive without some kind of drastic measures anyway.

Let's face it, the club has been screwed since 2003. Amazing we manage to drag it out quite so lengthily really.

As far as I'm aware they still have two years of their current agreement to run, a lot can happen in two years.
I think some folk on here should chill a little and see what happens over the next few weeks, it could be interesting.

Yeah, exactly this. Make the noise but keep the hysteria out of it until we know what is happening at the end of the current deal.

So you already know the motives for going back to Sixfields when actually there's little to indicate that it will actually happen. Keep promoting the hysteria that's bound to contribute to a solution.

The irony of it!
The first time our owners championed it as the best thing for us...if it happened this time it would be portrayed as quite the opposite.

In both scenarios I think it is the worst option for the club & fans.

Bang on the money. Why would any landlord with a pain in the ass tenant not try to find a new tenant. It's called what goes around comes around. Treat people badly for long enough & you they will find a way of moving on without you.

So Embarrassing for our Club.

Option A : build working partnerships in Coventry with the organisations/people that matter & see if long term these partners will support your long term aims & goals.

Option B : use the press & slate these organisations/people and create even more bad will.

Time people stopped blaming others, this is down to how the custodians of OUR football club have treated others. I am gutted @ thought of OUR academy being damaged but completely understand why others have become fed up & end of tether with the games & nonsense.

If the landlord does not offer a reasonable future rental agreement the tenant will obviously look for an alternative
That does not indicate he WANTS to go but that he is simply looking to see if there is a better option
Whether he gets one or not is another matter.

It is all very well running down the clock - can anyone recall what the penalties were should we not fulfil the undertaking agreed with the FL? That will almost certainly lead to more legal proceedings imo

Well unless we and crfc have applied to build a 15-18k stadium won't it be us and crfc who are holding it up at the moment? Wasn't it last November when the LR broke the BPA story? Surely if we and crfc were serious we'd have some sort of plans drawn up by now and started the process of having the covenant regarding only having Rugby played on the site changed? How far are we down the road with that? It already sounds as convincing as TF land from 3 years ago.

If the landlord doesn't get paid but holds the keys, when the tenant leaves because he is a smart arse and wants to get away with paying what was agreed and owed or try to take the owners house on the cheap. Then the tenant should not come back crying because he has found the grass is not greener on the other side. Sisu were so sure that fans would follow, CCC would give in and courts would do them a favour, they took the eye off what should of been at up-most importance.

Which was keeping the man that holds the keys a friend a partner and someone that together a common goal could of been gained.

And yes I'm here to express an opinion, isn't that what forums are about, isn't it? Or is this one different?

From what I can see you appear to have an opinion/agenda on everything. I doubt mine is the same as yours, but that's the way of the world.

And before you ask, I've supported CCFC since 1969. Hate SISU with passion. I have posted on the forum before under a different name and I am aware who the forum mafia are.

Well what is better - a tenant going bust and not paying or renegotiating / deferring the rent in some way to work though the problem?
It does help of course if you have a friend in the background who can slip another tenant in

Agenda: The underlying intentions or motives of a particular person or group. I think for a number of users on this forum, that's quite apt.

Where's Nicks hysteria Tony? He is talking about one of many scenarios to do with the club, and their ongoing issues with Wasps, the Ricoh and the Academy. There are many other people putting out alternative scenarios but I don't see you jumping on them with such relish.

Si80 has posted info previously and confirmed again in this thread that it's Wasps connected.
Think his info comes through Severn Trent, however it could be the hedgefund element I guess.

Is it me or does it seem like as soon as there is progress at CCFC (Finishing 8th after surviving last day) we go backwards?

I was looking forward to the Euros, then getting updated on who we might be signing over the summer. Then looking forward to the start of the season in 2 months time.

What a mess this whole thing is. I have gone past who is at fault, who is victim of what. Get it sorted, get it resolved. Some authority needs to step in and quick.

What's better? for a start the tenant instead of ignoring late rent notices on his desk the first day and turning down the option to talk to the owner to renegotiate the rent agreement they should of took notice and acted.

But you know the truth Sisu, were not in this for the long haul, they wanted promotion, quick profit on the sale of the club or the buy the Ricoh with Prem money. So they didn't have a plan B, they still don't, but if you want to see them as a squatter about to be evicted, have it your way. But you know what TF said and you know being here now was not or was ever the plan. As for having little friends when the house is empty and you are being threatened with court cases and we are not coming back the owner no matter what you think has the right to secure what is his.

Take the sky blue specs off and sadly the facts are there, does it make me happy no, its makes me mad to think this shower of shit is still pulling fans pants down as if they care about the city, club and fans.

I see this situation in an entirely different light to the Ricoh shambles.

When it comes to the possible destruction of the CCFC Academy, IMO the responsibility now falls upon CCC, CSF and Wasps. OK, the football club tried to lead them a merry dance by saying they were going to move it elsewhere – but now they are saying different.

Top-grade facilities are needed for both clubs, either separately or together, but finding land for training and Academy purposes can’t be anything like as difficult as looking for a stadium site. You’ve got Allard Way (which is massive if Wasps have bought the Severn Trent land – they must be looking to do more in future like a hotel / spa complex?). You’ve also got any number of places like Copsewood, Sphinx or Sporting where it ought to be possible to do something. And what is most interesting about today’s statement is that CCFC presumably see a different future for Ryton. Hmmm.

For some people, this seems to be just another day to have a go at SISU. But for me the club statement is very welcome, and I see it as a genuine attempt to make progress by cooperation at long last. I applaud CCFC for speaking clearly and appealing to the heart, and I really hope it’s genuine. FFS they even seem to have finally recognised that to achieve your ends with politicians, you have to do politics, and not just try to be clever with financial and legal shenanigans. Maybe it’s too late, but as everything is still at the planning stage, it damn well shouldn’t be.
