Do you not think he has a point? Oh and it's CCFC's academy not SISU's

I haven't heard all of it, but this is CCFC we are talking about...

Could we not look to house the academy at Ryton ?

Spend the Maddison money on a ccfc owned building which supports our pipeline ?

Did I hear that right from Anderson? We would consider moving the 1st team training from Ryton to Higgs?

He did indeed. Interesting idea. Wouldn't there be enough room at Ryton for what Wasps are proposing?

To be totally honest , each club has its "own" business to look after , as does the Higgs centre . You cant blame anyone for not wanting to deal with Sisu , remember the argument over paying for maintenance , I would nt do business with Sisu .

Basically they 100% want the academy to stay at Higgs. Would be prepared to move first team to Higgs as well to demonstrate commitment to Coventry. Want Wasps to pause planning application and talks with Wasps and CSF to see how academy future can be secured.

Honestly I'm embarrassed for him.

Yes I 100% believe it should be worked out so CCFC stay there, but telling another business to move to another location isn't the way forward (in my opinion).

Wasps saying talks are on hold re CCFC staying at Ricoh and now Anderson saying Wasps should build elsewhere.

For all the wrong reasons Wasps hold all the cards and I can see this all ending very badly and far sooner that we'd all feared.

Even if it ruined the future of your football team? See the bigger picture. SISU won't be here forever

The CET article is backing nothing but just stating the facts.
Simon Gilbert and colleagues are shit scared of upsetting WASPS.

Thanks Dave. Not exactly massive, breaking news but at least it publicly confirms our desired outcome and approach.

I just hope he backs this up with taking the message to all concerned parties directly as opposed to confirming it through the press.

what a sad state of affairs to have to resort to making that statement and i think its at a stage of desperation now and if it is not resolved we as a club will be put into administration and folded up by the season end if not before, basically everything points to CCFC moving away from the city.

Some people are never happy.

Last week it was all about showing some commitment to Higgs and Academy.

Now it would appear the club are prepared to do that some people are not happy.

Slow news day in Coventry.

That said, I welcome the club's intentions and hope the trust will work with them.

Funny how you weren't embarrassed at Wasps stance on the legal action and it preventing Ricoh talks. Another prime example of swapping SISU for WASPS and opinions changing.

Sisu are basically the husband, and our fans are the wife. Even when the husband is doing something right he can't do right for doing wrong. He'll never win.*

*As before, I'm in no way saying Sisu haven't fucked up so let's not go down that route

All the best.

Do you honestly believe there any better than SISU? That they will put the club before Wasps or their investors? Imagine getting to the PL and the TV money being creamed off to fund their biggest club in Europe wish. How would you feel then?
