Are you for real?
Sisu have made a complete hash of this investment (probably halved the value of the club through relegation and lost gates/sponsorship; got rid of all decent playing assets whilst increasing the debt to 70m!)
They are going to lose a shed load, that's what happens when you fail...
Sounds like you want a whip round for them from the fans!!
But it isn;t a good thing going on in Northampton, whatever happens.
The only choices Northampton offers long term are bad, or very bad.
neither of which are what they're happy with.
northampton is only a means to an end, it isn't the ultimate goal.
Well said.Because SISU must honestly believe that fans are not serious in their fan boycott. I believe Fisher has already stated that he believes the fans will return after a couple of home games. If the fans are resolute in their determination to not go to Sixfields, then eventually SISU will realise there is no hope of any future prospects of them making any kind of return.
same hereI will absolutely NOT watch CCFC at NTFC. The moment the first ball is kicked at Sixfields is the moment that CCFC has died for me!
Otis they are not going to ever get 10,000 at Northampton and by saying they will fund the gap while away suggest the term is short and they did not expect any large support 35 miles away.
So logic says they will return to the Coventry area asap. OK so where? Currently according to the press they have secured one site and are in talks on another. Still don't believe them? Well I do because it makes sense if they can't get their hands on the Ricoh in some equal income supporting way and the only people who can do that are the Council/ACL.
Just might be the reason these rumoured last minute talks are taking place don't you think?
If we want Coventry City back in Coventry how the hell is attending games at Sixfields going to help that cause?
How is the quickest way to get rid of them to go to Northampton? It is going to cost Sisu a lot of money to invest and build a new stadium (not all the money can be coming from elsewhere. There will be plenty of costs involved with the design, planning etc.)
If we all go to Northampton and fill the place there will be no incentive for Sisu to build a new stadium. They might as well stop there until we return a profit.
Just don't see how that is going to get rid of them at any sort of speed whatsoever.
It won't.
Think people are just saying they will go to away games so they can follow their team.
Don't disagree. However, fans are getting labelled as scabs for wishing to follow their team at Sixfields. However, it seems that those who are going to do away games only are (or think they are) better fans than those who wish to attend "home" games. It stinks really. I think a total boycott of ALL games would have more impact, but what do I know? Fans will still justify their own stance while attacking someone else's.

Tommy, no it won't embarrass the League. They really don't care as long as the competition kicks off as it should. "Integrity" remember.
