Turns out she’s 17. While it is not illegal, it’s definitely not a good look. There’s rumours his account was hacked but the account has now been deleted.

Benefit of the doubt, she a) above legal age and b) like you say, is it well publicised on her account as her only being 17?
It's not a great look, but it kinda feels all a bit of a non-story to me. I can almost guarantee the pic he liked is either her out drinking or in a bikini. Either way, if she's old enough to do both those things, she's old enough to have her posts liked.
Has BTA got a missus/kids? If so that kinda changes things a bit, but if he's single, then what's the big hooha?

Yep - The only thing on my instagram that gives away my age is the fact I have got ‘99’ at the end of my username - It’s possible for people to look older and it’s possible that this girl has nothing to suggest her age on her account at all

Not about a crime but it’s about how it looks or how it’s perceived to look. He’s a ‘public figure’ if you like, representing a very exposed company.
That said, based off what I’ve seen I’d probably give the benefit of the doubt. A 17 year old posting on instagram, which no doubt has been edited and had filters applied to it can be really deceptive.
The Birmingham fans jumping on it calling him a ‘nonce’ is weird though.
