He's scored 18 in 2 seasons, not impressive at all. Spending millions on a bang average championship player would be a mistake.

It's this for me. If we really want to challenge for automatic promotion - and that is where I want us to be, not in the play off lottery - we don't need back-up players. We need players who might not be first choice in week 1 next season but easily could be first choice, and would be first choice elsewhere. Yeah Godden is done for us, that's not a high bar. He looked finished in all his appearances towards the end of the season.
