This is being rolled out to most football league clubs. Lots already have it and it's absolutely terrible.

I have seen it on other clubs websites, they all use the same layout. Its been widely panned by fans of those clubs who already have it!

There's a brand new official Coventry City FC website coming your way, bringing you a new state of the art design.

We've been working tirelessly behind the scenes in recent weeks to get our new Official Website up and running.

We are aiming to make the new site even bigger and better - and ensure that you get the best ever coverage on your club - Coventry City.

Focusing on action from on and off the pitch, we will provide you with high quality imagery to bring you a visually led experience.

As well as continuing to provide you with all official Sky Blues news first, we're also introducing lots of new and exclusive features to keep you in the know, including:

• A Live Matchday Centre bringing you live scores,
line ups and stats from every City fixture.

• Fast loading times to bring you
all official updates, first.

• Interactive features to provide you with
a fan friendly experience.

• Social integration to help you share content and
follow official Coventry City social media channels.

So make sure you check back here tomorrow* (it's the same address) and see what you think of your brand new Official Website.

Salesmanship and a certain amount of IT speak but hey at least they are trying make things better ....... but as it would appear to be a standard platform it shouldnt have taken too much time surely ?

interesting to see why they think it is better

PVA is absolutely right, if that is the site we are getting.
It makes hard work of what should be simple.

Unfortunately PVA's 100% right.
Have a look at Leyton Orient's or Hull's new website.
They've got the new-look websites on already and they look like the internet pioneer days.
Plain awful, slow, horribly designed and -tataaaa- they do not work on mobile devices...

Never used the previous one anyway, the news was always out of date compared to fans sites!

Not bothered either way about the actual site.
But why the need for all the 'we've been working behind the scenes' bollocks when, clearly, they've been handed a template and told to use it.

I wonder if the new site will a 14 day trial period as the club has no money?

Then after 14 days they will look for another free website to use for another 14 days...

They all use the same template, the same as sky blues player as it is from the football league!

I just hope this one works properly, so annoying if you typed ccfc.co.uk it wouldnt work without the ccfc!

http://www.ntfc.co.uk/ as well

I know what look they're trying to achieve, but it doesn't quite work.

Regarding not working on mobile- I can only think it's less of a priority as more phones don't need mobile versions as well as a rapid increase in tablet users.

Guess it must be some marketing managers idea of what fans want.
Personally I like to watch live football & that is about it.

The old site was full of out of date information, I don't suppose they've updated the crap words just stuck the same old in a new template.

I shall not be 'following' anyone on social media.
