This is such an interesting fixture ..the 2 form sides of the division .
Bradford last 8 ..Won 6 drew 2
Coventry last 9 ..Won 6 drew 3

We are scoring for fun and they have just kept their 6th clean sheet in a row .
I would gladly walk away with a point , is it winnable ??? Yes ..
If we win this that will be the best result of the season so far ,and sets us up nicely to pull away at the top with a win at home to donny at the weekend to follow (hopefully)

Thoughts and are you going PUSB

After this game we've got a great run through to Walsall at home in the New Year.

Bradford (A) (7th)
Donny (H) (16th)
Sheff Utd (A) (11th)
Oldham (H) (18th)
Port Vale (H) (12th)
Chesterfield (A) (15th)
Crewe (A) (24th)

It's going to be tough, 1-1 I reckon. Wouldn't mind too much if we do lose, agree that it's our toughest game, probably since the Bury away game (last game we lost in the league).

Take a point now.

I would start Fortune in place of Kent.

Tough game, as I said in the other thread going to be interesting to see how the likes of Murphy, Kent and Armstrong react to a hostile crowd who will try and make them feel uncomfortable.

What is their mudpatch like these days, it could have a bearing on things, would take a point but the way we are playing I think we can win it. I don't think there's a defence in this league that can deal with the pace across our forward line. I won't be going but will be glued to the radio.

I'm taking the afternoon off to support the lads at this one and urge anyone who is able to do the same to do so!

Can't understand anyone would take a draw after watching the first half today.
Got to be a win.

Great shout! I have a supplier about 3 miles away, perhaps I could place an order with them on Monday and save half a days holiday ;-)

Bollocks to being happy with a draw. We demolished the side that was top in 10 minutes. All the clubs in this division will presently be happy with a point against us. We are not 3 points clear and the best GD for no reason.

Hi all. I'm massively looking forward to Tuesday. Both teams on top form. Should be an absolutely cracking match!

Bradford is local to me and I've been last few seasons. Its a terrible pitch and a terrible away end with a tiny shed selling pretty much just tea/coffee. Think Hanson is out injured so their normal hoof tactics might not be employed this year which would make it interesting. I would take a point its always a tough place to go, I just can't stand losing to them as loads of Bradford fans come in my pub. Its extra satisfying to going in top as they kept calling this our 'relegation season'!

Hanson will be out for Tuesday as will Meredith probably after picking up a foot injury on international duty.
The pitch drainage was sorted out and completely re-vamped in the off-season using the money we got from the FA Cup run last year.
I've never been in the away end so I cant comment on that.

Weren't it Bradford we played on bonfire night 2004 maybe? The most boring game ever.

Bradford forum has a thread running for the game and has posted a link to our game thread too.

I agree with the comments about Hansen. He's always been a trouble for our back line. Saw a comment on the BCFC forum that its an ankle injury so that may just mean a couple of days rest or a few weeks out.

Nick, just a note: some of them have posted that trying to register on here has caused problems related with the no-spam questions. Not sure if you've had messages from Cov fans having the same issues ?

Hanson is out for a few weeks. Ankle ligaments (see my earlier post) ^^. That's why we signed a new loanee striker Jordan Bowery (who incidentally played superbly on his debut).
I had no trouble registering on the forum.

It's the Coventry mentality. That's not a bad thing, most supporters are going to be cautious after so many years of rubbish and false dawns! I can't blame anyone for thinking the bubbles going to burst. I'm just hoping it's not for another 5 years!

When I saw his username CovShadow I just assumed he was a Coventry fan at first, but then he talks like he is a Bradford fan which surprised due to my initial assumption.

Maybe he is a Bradford who secretly wishes he was Coventry fan.
