It's such a shame for all involved (suporters including). We had two goalkeepers on the pitch who were going through their own emotional challenges. And for 88 minutes it looked like we were going to get the "against the odds Hollywood ending, which I believed like most people, up to that point his performance deserved. Based on your experience, and I wish you all the best with your own personal challenges. How does the club make him whole again. That must be one hell of a dark place to be in. Thanks again for enlighten us on a issue we sometimes fail to consider.

'Against the odds Hollywood ending'? Fuck me - what are you expecting next? A biopic of his life if he plays 89 minutes of a 0-0 v Wrexham?

If anything I wonder if his good performance up to them gave him too much confidence that made him think he could come for it. Or maybe he saw a cloud that reminded him of his mother’s breast. I’m not a fucking psychologist.

Rewatching the match, he definitely kept us at 0 - 0. Especially with his Walsh save. Absolute mental decision which I still can’t understand at all

This is what makes the selection for FL trickier than it would be for a fan.

Is the reason you act the way you do because nobody has ever said, 'yeah, ok then, could be fun', when you've said that to them?

Because let's be honest, you do come across very much like someone who's never seen another human being naked.

Can talk about confidence but he's just not very good, technically he's quite poor for a keeper

We're all amateur psychologists now. This mass psychosis is set to continue until we are defenitely out of contention for promotion or home and hosed.

Now you've got me thinking. Stallone to play Brad? Tom Cruise to play Frank Lampard?

Putting aside goalkeeping talent (or lack of), Ben Wilson has a banging song and we need to raise the roof on Saturday so let's get him in for that.

Add the words 'needlessly snarky', to the above and that's your entire posting history neatly summed up.

Have you ever seen a keeper in such a crisis before at CCFC? Im not a great fan of Wilson but he is a solid No2 and if he’s fit needs to play last game. Collins is shot and the only outcome is for him to be loaned out next season if any takers. Frank Lampard you have literally dropped the ball by continuing with Brad Collins.

Marosi, in my opinion, wasn’t quite the same player after his head was caved in. A bit more cautious. Different type of crisis, but goalkeepers need to be in a certain mental state to perform 100%

In no way am I slating the bloke. I’d be the same - most of us would if we were honest.

On a different note, “have you ever seen a keeper in such a crisis?”

Andy Gorman. Legendary Scotland keeper played for us around 2000. Diagnosed with schizophrenia, leading to the chant “there’s only two Andy Goram’s”.

Frank needs to step away from the “Chelsea Old Pals Act” with Collins and replace him from now on.
Wilson is a great number 2 and should be nailed on for Middlesboro and the play-offs should we make it.
Super Ben Wilson in goal - come on!
There’s zero evidence that he’s picking him because of a Chelsea connection.

If Wilson was as good as you claim he’d have played more than one season of first team football - he’s 33 ffs….there’s a reason he’s had a career and not actually played much.

Serious question. What has Oggy said about Collins? I appreciate he'll be very guarded with his comments though.

Something like 'all goalies make mistakes' and 'I am sure Brad will be as disappointed as anybody else'.

People talking like Collins has some terminal illness. We don't know what he's going through, he might not give a shit. He's a young bloke playing football for a very nice living whilst we follow him around the country for our entertainment, having grafted all week to pay for it.

He's fucking useless and needs dropping. It should be simple. If there are underlying issues, get them sorted and stop putting him in front of crowds, but there are enough experts and close links within the club who have played or play the game and know a bit more about issues facing than all on here. He's crap, no excuse, just crap.

That’s not a bad shout. If she just stood still on her goal line she’d block most shots.

Acknowledging you're a bell-end isn't the same as caring that you're a bell-end.

I wonder if it’s now occurred to Collins that he’s not suited to professional football?
If so , he could do himself, his teammates a favour by handing in his retirement notice tomorrow morning ( with immediate effect)

Bored with all this now. Get behind the whole team on Saturday. No sarcastic cheers when Collins (if playing) catches the ball. FL will sort out the keeper position in the summer.

I genuinely feel sad for Collins! I am no psychologist but he is not doing himself any favours by keep playing. He should take himself out of the picture at this stage. Can you imagine the shit storm that would happen if he messes up and cost us the play off place. He seems to be a brittle mentality wise and the slightest thing tips him. I hope that the performance director get him the help he needs!

Or… he’s on the books as an asset (what did we pay, £600k?) and he wants to shop window him?

It’s either that or the stat team have deduced that he completes more passes (on the basis that he often calls CD’s back to either side of the goalposts and does a one-two) than BW. BW, for his faults, is vocal and reads the game. He doesn’t seem to FA making stats look good.

It’s one of my criticisms of Sheaf, would rather safe-pass than try to create something so his stats look great. It’s maybe a good way of getting a better transfer / sign on fee from some gullible club so maybe there’s a strategy there. (Awaits brickbats for saying so).
